It doesn’t matter if it was on purpose. 10/10 situations like that are never on purpose. The fact still remains that in college football, a knee down on any play other than the holder on field goals is down. It was the right call, no matter how much we hate it.

We need to quit blaming one play on why we lose the game. There were frickups by the refs, the staff, and the players.

- Giles muffing the punt was huge.
- The refs calling an awful game was huge (knee down wasn’t one of those calls).
- Ensminger calling 3 runs on a row was questionable.
- Aranda not blitzing on 3rd and forever is a monemental frick up.
- One of the most reliable kickers we’ve ever had missed a field goal.
- Receivers dropping ball after ball is probably the most infuriating part of the game for me. It’s never fricking ending.
- Both defenses were gassed in OT.
- The bullshite targeting call on Philips.
- Missing Joseph, Fulton, and Fehoko hurt BADLY.

Stop blaming one fricking call on us lose, especially a correct one. There were plenty of other calls to bitch about.

his knee was down it was the right call. The only annoying thing is that we all know, sure as shite, they would not have taken a second glance at it if it were a complete pass for A&M

Then why wasn't the play whistled dead? If his knee touched why wasn't the play whistled dead?

Whoa I missed the issue with clock on this play. So did the refs wind the clock after the reversal and start the clock again for the next play? Or did the clock start after the snap.

I see what your saying there with intent, and that’s something that should probably be factored into situations where something like that Is too close to call. As it is, if Mond picks up the football like a football player and not a woman who finds a dead lizard on her kitchen floor, it’s game over. Can’t remember seeing a player pick up a ball with such awkward lack of awareness. You send to extinctively want to keep knees and elbows away from the ground during a live play.

Yeah this is what I meant. Our pressure and created chaos caused his bad decision. He didn't say let me put my hand on the the ball with my knee on the ground. Football is not that black and white. The whole play should have determined the outcome. Football people would agree even the aggies I bet those refs wouldn't have heard shite about not nitpicking that. Hence why no call was made live. The athletes should always decide the game

That’s not why. No call was made because they did not see ot. The replay did what the replay is supposed to do.

What was the purpose of the replay? It was a pick. The replay was about the pick not the snap or before the throw. I did not get it. Someone upstairs told them to use that and that is what I believe is what transpired.

LSU had won the game on the turnover.

I am over them but does not mean squat in terms of fairness or unjust calls.

You realize this makes no difference? If any part of the body (besides hands) touches the ground the ball carrier is down.

Yeah. Cheating is not at all my point. Refs are out there to manage a game not come in with basically a power play call. No corruption. Just abuse of a rule that should have played out with our great play. That's all guys. I mean you can call holding on any play. A foul in basketball for any contact. Those guys had a chance to be in the background of the competitive action. But pulled out a technicality. That's not good officiating. It's about the players

Play should have been blown dead and it was not. LSu blew up a play and they whistled it dead. It was such a shite show by the refs that last minute of the game.

Agreed. There is a also a still I have seen with the ball in his hand and off the ground with his knee still down.

They could have showed the replay and the knee a thousand times. All that ref and crew could have said is we got no possession to their higher ups and it wouldn't have hur t their postseason assignments and they would have instead been known as the crew who called a close big game well

At that point was it their call or the replay officials call?

no, i saw a different angle on the news today, view from backfield shows he was knee down when he picked up the ball. the interception called back was the right call.

the angle from the front makes it look like his knee lifted but it was a good cal

Not that I disagree, but if the pass was incomplete or a completion for A&M, does the replay booth make the same call?
