Meanwhile Germany restarted their league and finished. Italy, Spain and English leagues are playing every 3 days. They are going to finish domestic and champions league.

If we want to play, we can. America has weak leaders and coming elections has more influence

Nope. We don’t need to play in-front of fans. The money is in TV rights and AD revenue anyways

College athletic programs can’t fiscally survive if they don’t. It’s not just about playing the games...the NFL fan but college football needs fans in the stands to make it feasible.

College towns might need the fans but teams make most of it from TV deals

Yep ...Forget football. We need to stay in a bubble under the bed for at least for 10 years. It's not like other viruses ; flu's ' staph infections aren't out there too

Those are some BS inflated Covid numbers from the CDC. They have the country & the media by the sack!

They are not even going to make TV money if they don’t play at all. That makes it even worse.

Any school in a conference with a network TV deal still gets thats money but they lose on ticket sales and such THUS the push to play this year in front of fans. Pro leagues are different and don’t depend on attendance like college football/sports do.

Sure, if they don’t play this year the networks gain leverage when its time to rework the deal but the the conferences are getting that money either way and they will funnel it to the schools whether they play a game or not.

Right. And Dr. Birx said each region will go through their own curve eventually. The regions getting hit hard were relatively unscathed compared to the filthy people on the northern Atlantic seaboard.

Ivy League schools don’t participate in the FCS playoffs and are overrun with SJWs. I’m weary about the season too but I don’t think the Ivy League’s decision will impact P5 schools.

The Pac 12 will definitely follow suit. If the Ivies do it, Stanford, Cal, and UCLA are next. That would prompt some serious conversations at some other top-tier publics universities around the country, including Michigan, Texas, and North Carolina.

.25% of nyc residents have died already so unless you think 100% of the city has had the disease and no more deaths are coming you need to go back to the drawing board on the math
