This just isn't true. I don't know a single Bama fan(SECr excluded) that doesn't respect the hell out of your program. Most of us feel that LSU is the only program on the same level as Bama. It's a rare Bama fan that isn't nervous about Saturday; I can promise you that.

frick Saban I'll hate him if I damn well want to. It keeps me warm at night fueling this hatred. I have despised Bama and the Bear since the begining of my football conscienous in the 70s so don't presume to tell me how I should feel.

He's the coach at our biggest current rival and he's an a-hole. Of course people don't like him.

I don't hate Saban the family man or the man away from football.
If he would have stayed in the NFL there would not be this hate for him. Even if he went to the PAC 12, Big 12 or back to the Big 10, it would not be at this level.
He rubbed it in the our (Tigers) fans faces by going to Bama.
But when he is on the sidelines, He is the enemy and it one of our tacklers rolls up on his ankle and breaks it during the game.
I will not shed a tear. He would do it to you in a minute.

LOL! Except that the other team actually has an offensive strategy and game plan that involves passing and halftime adjustments!
I am sick of having to worry more about whether or not the coach will be up for the game more than the players.

Let me explain to your dumb Techy arse why I hate Nick Saban. Is it because he left LSU for Miami? No. Is it because he left Miami to coach at Alabama? No. Is it because he is a great coach that we have to face at least once a year? No. Is it because he is a little dictator prick? No. Want to know why I hate Nick Saban?
I hate Nick Saban because he is the coach of the football program that I hate more than anything.
Growing up watching LSU football I had to sit by and watch Florida and Alabama kick the frick out of LSU. I waited for a long time for the Tigers to become a respectable program so that we could compete with these two. It finally happened. I have hated Steve Spurrier, Ron Zook, Urban Meyer and now Will Muschamp. I have hated Dubose, Franchione, Shula and now Saban. Hell....I even hate Mike Price.

The only thing I don't like about Saban being at a rival SEC school is he uses the ties he made while coaching at LSU to recruit in Louisiana.
Other than that, its just fun to make fun of him - especially since we have a history with him.
Some people are so serious all the time, so if anyone makes any type of negative comment about Saban - they are immediately "butthurt".

I was butthurt when he left, especially the way he left. I got over that.
Hell, I was butthurt when we hired him. My thought was "Is that the best we can do for 1.2 million". And when he started out 3-3 with blow out loses to Auburn, UF and the UAB disaster I was really thinking we had fricked up again.
The guy is now a much better coach than he was even when he was here. I think the NFL taught Nick the one thing he was missing before, how to be humble.

great point. it really reminds me of the story that heath evans tells where one of the dolphins players collapsed and began having a seizure in a dolphins hallway after practice and nick saban had the humility to step over him en route to his office.

It's a great thing. The whole Saban hate video and the loser fans that think this game is all about that need to get an education and learn something about mutual respect. This is Ali vs Frazier....the ol' Steelers vs Dallas....two great symbols of their sport going head to head. I love it! GEAUX TIGERS!!!!!!!!
