Especially the chic who bailed out during the scuffle. Her 1 job at that point is to step in and stop this shite. She got the frick out with the quickness then stood about 30 feet away with her hands on her hips watching as shite went on. She should be suspended for some serious time. She had noting to do with calming that situation.

Guess you didn't see the male ref under our offensive basket allowing Reese and Morrow to get mugged the whole game. Morrow ended up on the floor a few times after getting knocked down. The whole crew allowed the game to get out of hand from the opening tip....terrible officiating. Proud of our team for hanging tough and playing short-handed through their injuries. Geaux Tigers!!!

They need to get rid of the taunting. Shouldn’t allow players to run up in opposing players faces screaming and bowing up after plays. Or the stupid little hand signals they do right in front of the other player just cause they made a layup. It’s disrespectful to the game and allows things to get out of hand. Football will flag u for it. Hell our punter had a td called back for less than goes on in basketball. Need to clean it up and not allow it in the tourney

I disagree. I officiate high school football in Texas, and when a scuffle breaks out between a few players I’ll step in. But if a benches clearing fight happens (luckily I’ve never had one) I doubt I’m going to put myself in a situation to get seriously hurt. The coaches know the players far better than I do and should be able to break them up and calm them down.
In the NHL when a fight breaks out the 2 referees stand back and watch to take note of who to call penalties on. Granted the linemen have the dirty work to try to break it up.

Absolutely incorrect.
When I officiated basketball, we were taught if a brawl breaks out to step back, take out your pen and card, and start writing down the jersey numbers of those leaving the bench area.
The referees should be suspended for creating the environment that led to the fight, but not for failure to break to the fight. That’s not their job
