If it happens, having LSU and ULL as national seeds says a LOT about the quality of baseball in the state of Louisiana.

I'm enjoying the win today, but I am still skeptical LSU gets a top8. Not because they didn't earn it this week, but politics.

I feel the exact same way. I hope they get paired up with the Cajuns.

I know its early but if you don't think LSU is the eighth national seed, then you are just insane.

Politics says no? What? Maybe rice sshould get more fans and they would be a better fit.

I think they have an 8 seed locked down after this performance.

Yep, they didn't just win, they destroyed everyone.

Not only that, we were only the third team to shutout Florida this season.

This RPI is very confusing. If ULL has an excuse for a top seed because they beat us and 2 other SEC teams, one who didn't make the tourney and the other who was knocked out early then we have an excuse for beating Fla who supposedly has the hardest schedule in the country.

We won't get a national seed. Some people still have us not even hosting a regional. It's fun to dream but it won't happen.
I didn't post that. Don't attribute quotes to me that someone else made on page 1 of this thread.

I think we definitely get a top 8 seed.

Glad it worked out!.. If you're up to it, put together a "LSU's case for a national seed" post later.

The whole half-story blind resume test espn did all day was pissing me off.

I'm not insane because I think other people are making these decisions, not you or me.

And even Kendall picked Ole Miss.

I think LSU deserves a national seed, but it isn't a fact until it's a fact.

That thing was set up for the viewer to pick ole miss....no last 10-20 games, no conference tourney performance, listed SOS when SOS is already included in RPI....

So basically every metric in lsu's favor (with exception of RPI) was excluded from their fricking blind test. Not to mention lsu's RPI was wrong considering they were STILL playing #1 and everyone knew they would go up with a win

Me too kinda. Yes, Ole Miss has a case. I think LSU has a better case. I think both have a better case than Rice for sure.

To be honest, I looked at that blind test and said one of the first two (taking into account RPI isn't everything when it comes to this committee)

I'm speaking to the one when they had Kendall Rogers in the booth and they gave him the 4 blind resumes for a top 8 seed.

He picked Ole Miss.

Of course he did...that's exactly what that thing was set up to make anyone looking at it pick. It was a "trick question."

Ole miss isn't getting a national seed.
