Truth is, I don't think people have confidence in JL. They simply hope and pray he's figured out how to use his gifts(he does throw well) because they see JJ has few gifts.

That you keep talking about JJ like he has no physical or mental talents to work with at QB shows that you don't know what the hell you are talking about. JJ can make more throws on the field than Mauck or Flynn could. (Although JJ's delivery can be pretty slow and aweful.)

If you add in JL's time and time again proven inability to read and feel all defenders on the field, JJ has more talent to be a successful QB than JL does. Losing track of defenders in your throwing lanes is a huge deficiency when it comes to QBing, a much bigger deficiency than anything JJ has in his game.

Correct.

JJ is no All American, but he gets the nod for never throwing the game away.

I personally am glad he can make the throws. When is he going to start making them...and making them consistantly? I hope the answer is this season.

JL wanted to throw 2 pick-6s against LT, but they didn't catch the INTs.

But 2008 isn't all on Lee either. Our defense sucked nuts. 50+ w/ pick-6s twice.

I'd like to see both develop Jack Hunt style.

That's all venom, no substance.

I'm glad you said it that way, though. . .makes you easier to ignore thanks to your surrender of credibility.

Really, tell me Mr cred

Where did JJ rank against other starting SEC QBs last yr?

And how many yds separated him from the next closest QB?

I wont wait for your reply:

LAST PLAY, by 500 yards. That is no SEC QB

Last place? Yea, that is what happens when you have the worst offensive line in the SEC by far.

We also had the second worst rushing game in the SEC with two senior RBs with NFL talent. What does that tell you? When a OL is blocking that poorly for two senior RBs heading to the NFL, how is it that you feel its right to judge JJ as absolutely not being a SEC QB while playing behind such an OL? Have some sense.

If JL can ever get a better feel for defenders, especially in the flats, he can be an excellent QB. See that is a balance statement about an LSU QB. Maybe you idiots could try making that sort of debate instead of "JJ has no tools" or "JJ isn't a SEC QB."

Thats another thing. People act like season starts tomorrow. THE TEAM HAS NOT EVEN GOTTEN DOWN AND DIRTY YET. They are just setting the groundwork. That is what spring football is. JESUS
