The real reason LSU won

I don't often post on the Rant anymore due to overall lack of intelligent conversation; however, its a new year. So here goes...
This is, of course, my humble opinion...
One of the main reasons LSU has been so successful over the last few years traces its roots back to the D-Line...both the overall speed of the line and our depth.
I read an article a while back debunking the myth that the SEC is overall a faster conference at skill positions; however, the article surmised that the SEC is MUCH faster on the DLine (shown during UF/OSU). LSU is the best in the SEC at recruting big, fast lineman.
Second, the wealth of talented 4 and 5 star lineman we rotate in is ridiculous...Rahim Alem, Nevis, etc. would start for almost any other team.
We wear teams down and we have the speed and depth to achieve this...we all saw how fresh Alem was at the end of the game since we had rotated 8 lineman.
There are many factors to our success, but I believe this is one of the most important ones.

I'd have to agree with that insight based on the sonic boom Alem caused on the next play after his roughing the passer penalty.

You start by talking about the lack of intelligent conversation on the Rant, and then you just repeat what the ESPN announcers were saying over and over again during the game?
Ok.
Ok.

I was at a bar with no sound, jackass. I have not watched it on my DVR yet either.
I know what I saw...I saw Auburn's OL and DL looking tired and slow int he fourth and I saw a very fresh, fast LSU dline.

Thanks for contributing to the lack of intelligent conversation on the Rant, Captain Obvious (hey, you asked for it).

Our DBs have also been the class in college football.

Our offensive line, and physical pounding running game also helped...just ask Sen'derrick Marks. He spoke highly of our offense.

I agree; however, a DB looks very good when the line gets a quick push and forces poor throws and bad reads.

Do you live in that bar? Because our DLine has been talked about for weeks as hands down the best in CFB.
The lack of intelligent conversation is based on your inability to bring anything to the table.

I didn't mean to be harsh, but when you start off by generalizing and insulting the entire board, then you should expect those kind of replies.
I mean I realize there are a ton of knuckleheads on this board, but there are quite a few knowledgeable folks as well.

I feel like sinc ethe start of this season or perhaps the month prior, there have been a bunch of newbies that have essentially made this board unreadable. I used to post here the most...
There are no doubt some intelligent thoughtful posters on here, but I just envisioned a thread with one intelligent response and a bunch of lowbrow responses.

thanks John Madden!!! YOu could have just said that we won because we scored more points than Auburn...that would have been a more "humble opinion"...maybe more unique as well
We won because at the beginning of the 3rd quarter when Auburn was driving down the field looking like they were not going to have a problem scoring, Our D (not just the line) said enough is enough. They stepped up and forced Auburn to punt the ball from our territory...that was the game changing moment. We did not let up from that moment on

In my opinion, this is the reasons why we won the game........
That is a very very valid opinion to have.

Your regurgitation of things stated on ESPN is very impressive. You are the Yoda of TD.com, you are.

Isn't having the words attorney and intelligent in the same post rather oxymoronic?
