The REAL PROBLEM with Alabama being #2

The REAL PROBLEM with Alabama being #2 is that it's being credited to them for a close loss to LSU. Aside from that, their biggest win was against Arkansas, the second being Penn St.
The fact that they have a marquee RB, a Nick Saban coached defense, "tradition" and 4 months of the talking heads convincing themselves and everyone else how great they are is what is getting them in this game. It's no different than the BCS doing their best to stick ND in a game for going 9-2 against the likes of the Service Academies.
The thing that bothers me most in all this is what kind of precedence is being set for the coming years? The "system" is basically reverting back into what it was before the BCS, a human poll.
And after all is said and done, IDGAF who we play. I kind of hope it is BAMA so we can skullfrick them the way we should have the first time.

Agree, Bama's only merit is that they didn't get run off the field in theire previous meeting with LSU. Other than that, they've beaten Arky and a pretty mediocre Penn State Team.

I want to Play Alabama also and I want LSU to beat them by at least 10 points this is the only team they havent beat by double digits!!!!! so we will have beaten every team we have played and beat them by double digits

Nothing would make me happier than to tear bama's heart out again. But when you really think about it it's not fair to punish a team because they don't look as good in the "eyeball test". You may call me scared but I honestly think what they are trying to do is genuinely unfair. One team has an equal record, tougher schedule and conference championship but bama will get in because they look like the better team on the stat sheet
