Actually, not in this thread, but I see it all the time on this board...the overusage of "safety help". Perhaps I am not conveying with words what I am actually trying to say.

What I was trying to conevy was that many people did not put blame on Taylor because he was "playing man" at FS in a cover 2 look...which is dumb. Other believe he was suppose dto give McCray "safety help"...like he was playing behind McCray no matter where #44 had to go. Dumb.

That's all I am trying to say. Better?

personally, i don't believe in ripping our guys. He is obviously on this team for a reason and if you have a problem with that, maybe you should put in your resume for DC and do some of your own recruiting.

Dude, I have no problem with McCray. I don't feel he's a strong player, but I won't rip on the guy. Why are you telling me this?

He probably has a better resume than Peveto.

Since when can you not play underneath when you're in man coverage? Are you guys retarded? If what Miles said is true and he was suppose to have Safety help, he has every right in man coverage to play underneath on the ball...

no comment.

of course, people may disagree with this but, I thing with the strength we had at RB, we could have ran outside against florida all day long...there is no way those little corners could have slowed down CS or KW...but we ran at their LBs all night...mistake IMO.

That's what Les says his assignment was but why did McCray start out on the right side of the field and end up down the left sideline running step for step with harvin? That is not underneath coverage, stupid.

If it was an underneath zone coverage, then why the frick was McCray on the wrong side of the field.

It would probably be a good idea to not call people stupid when you dont know what you're talking about.

You should probably read this thread, watch that play, maybe watch a little more football before trying to comment and act like you know what's going on, and then call people dumb when they are right and you are wrong.

We were NOT in a zone coverage, jesus. Taylor, the safety, was responsible for HELPING whatever DB's WR went over the top. How hard is that to understand?

McCray was manned up with Harvin, and expected to have help over the top, and Taylor made the wrong read. it's that simple.

+1. You would rather he throw his coaches and players under the bus at his presser? Didn't work so well for Tommy Boy, did it?

I think everybody plays underneath on that guy regardless of what they want to do. He is freaking fast.

My only problem with the D is the lack of blitzes all day freaking long.
