Its one thing to be unhappy. Its pathetic when people melt about literally everything that happens and calls for the coaches head 1 year after a championship in which we had unprecedented departures with players and coaches and then throw in covid.
Obviously this is a big year for coach O but I have confidence that we will turn it around with all of the new coaches that were hired and bringing back 20 of 22 starters also helps.

I remember 2004 well. When Saban went 9-4 and lost their bowl game, these "fans" were talking serious crap about him. Only a year out of a NC and some fans weren't giving him any grace at all...it just all seems to familiar now.

All that means is you are projecting your subjective opinions into a vacuum, because there is no evidence to indicate exactly what he meant or how he will handle “being more involved” in 2021.
It was a dumb thing for him to say publicly, mostly because this fanbase will run wild with any comment they can use.

The fans made him accept a $$$$ offer in the NFL after we lost to Iowa and Drew Tate?
That’s a pretty powerful fan base to do such a thing.
