If a 2 loss LSU team would be ranked higher than a 1 loss K-State, Oregon, or Notre Dame team.
With K-State's QB out, they may drop one. Notre Dame could lose any week, and I wonder how much bearing last years LSU vs Oregon game has on how much stronger the SEC is than the PAC-12.

No. LSU is 7th in the BCS now but if teams start losing ahead of LSU they'll be voted down to keep them out of the title game. A 2 loss non-conference champion won't make the title game.
