All these other campuses look unbelievable and we got algae coates hall in background. Weak, hope they prepare better for next time.

I'd imagine that it's a matter of logistics. I mean I agree with you, but it's not like they can just go slap a 100 sq ft stage anywhere and go with it. There's a large set that goes with the whole thing.
I will say that even though the excitement of having gameday on campus doesn't hold the weight it did 20 years ago, that LSU's gameday makes PSU's gameday look like it's being filmed at an old folks home. Also, the tailgating...
Eggs and pancakes, hamburgers, basically any generic grilling food that any moron could make. Wow. Grilled hot dogs and hamburgers. Way to be creative.

Yea, that’s baffled me the past couple years as well. The Parade Ground with TS and the Campanile looming or the PMAC ramp are both better options

I think fall fest scheduled at parade ground may have caused gameday in quad.

I actually liked it. Maybe they could have pressure washed things a bit, but it was really nice.

Back when GameDay was just 3 dudes at a desk, you could do it on the ramp. Now that it involves a cast of dozens and multiple sets, there's no way.
Not to mention LSU already has Tiger One Village and the TAF functions already there.

We tailgate on the parade ground. I believe the reason they don't set up there is because the fraternities/student groups are no longer allowed to or have to pay for the space. The Florida game was OK but the others looked like the Sahara desert from the corner where they originally set up to the war memorial. Just my opinion but not a good look when you look past the crowd there for Gameday.
