I understand the need for coach talk surrounding the QB position, but I’m just curious if it was blatantly obvious in practice that Burrow was so far ahead of everyone else. I’m sure some of the others are better throwers and better runners, but Burrow managed the game like a senior starter. Usually that only comes with experience.

I don’t see how any of those other guys were even close to his ability to be that “coach” on the field. He did things last night that we haven’t seen in quite some time.

I think Brennan probably has more arm talent, but Burrow is better everywhere else.

everyone knew, including the players, that Burrow was our guy from the minute he signed his papers. Our other 3 QBs weren't good, so O went out desperately seeking a transfer.

As you say, the rest is just coach speak and should be ignored.

I agree. 183 lbs soaking wet is going to get you killed. Kid has to add weight.

Brennan's arm is a myth. If you cant do it in a game under duress, then its a myth.

Why do you shallow and stupid people keep saying this shite?
You make it sound as if Coach O called teams begging them for a transfer QB.
Burrow contacted him first, and Coach O said sure come on down. Are you really this shallow and stupid?

Brennan needs to sit back and learn from Burrow so he can play lights out his redshirt junior and senior season.

I don’t think Brennan would have called the audible that resulted in Brousette’s long TD....

I agree with this.nit only will Burrow help us win now, he will help develop Brennan for when he leaves us.
