You need Alabama as high as possible.

Pulling for Ole Miss to lose another game. Not for Alabama.
It’s a great situation. If Alabama wins LSU is a lock for the West.

The biggest reason is that if we lose and bama wins ole miss still won’t win the west or control their destiny to do so. Let’s keep it that way.
Also, if we win and bama wins it takes some of the pressure off at A&M.
There’s literally nothing good from ole miss winning. Never. They need to be reminded where they belong which is below 2nd place. Always.

As long as BK keeps them focused when a&m game comes around
Would hate to loose and go to atlanta with just SEC on the line when momentum can carry into a playoff spot

How about enjoying that game either way?
I have ultimate confidence in this LSU team at this point. We are winning now because BK's process has taken hold. We don't have to worry about whether our borderline competent coach will manage to not screw up any of our last 3 games.
For me, the best case scenario is still possible if Ole Miss wins:
1) The Bama melt continues to burn bright, warming my heart even more. Sorry, but I fully embrace my schadenfreude when it comes to melting Bama fans.
2) Saban loses another game, and the possibility of him calling it a day and retiring is perhaps slightly higher
3) We can enjoy ripping the heart out of Ole Miss fans who will know that the only reason their best team in a generation missed out on its magical season was because an LSU team that had no business being this good simply stole it from them.
4) We can still win out and make the CFP.
True, if Bama wins it does take pressure off of us but I don't think lack of pressure will change how this BK coached team performs against aTm at all. At the same time, clinching the SEC CG for LSU this weekend would not be a bad thing either.
So I will watch that game knowing that I will enjoy seeing either team lose, but I will perhaps enjoy seeing Bama lose just a little bit more.
