The politics and propaganda of the CFP committee

I’m not so much concerned with this week’s poll as I am with the absolute proof that the committee is never going to be completely fair. It sucks moving forward, year after year- knowing that they are going to unjustifiably manipulate the top four for ratings, revenue, bias, etc.
Who would have thought that the BCS rankings would have more credibility than this shite show.

I agree, the subjectivity and overt bias in general (not toward any one conference) is concerning. Makes you feel like even if you play your hearts out and do everything you’re supposed to do, some fricking suit leaves your destiny out of your hands.

Its just funny all these people thought biased humans were better than computers.
Here is an idea, let the games determine the playoffs. Conf Champs get in and leave it at that. Everyone else kick rocks.

This. And hearing them shite all over going to Texas in Week 2, before Texas was banged up and coming off of a Sugar Bowl win over Georgia just pisses me off to no end.
Why the frick should we ever run a schedule like this again?
Clemson gets to play opponents with one thumb up there arse and be well rested, and OSU gets to play Top 10 teams loaded with 3* talent.
The whole thing is a ruse.

How so? The weekly polls mean absolutely nothing. Has an undefeated Power 5 Conference Champion been left out of the playoffs?
Everyone conveniently forgets that when AL was selected in 2017 the PAC 12 and Big 10 Champions each had two losses.
The only conference champions that have been “snubbed” by the committee are the ones where they had to choose between #4 and #5 which obviously was part of the design of the CFP.

Do you not know by now that this is 100% the reason they put their cronies in there to make sure they get the best ratings for the most profit? This was as predictable as the sun coming up every morning.
