Only thing that will change this is winning

Yeah, I don't see that happening.
The biggest PAID weekday crowd in the McMahon era was vs. (9) Arkansas in his first year. The paid attendance was slightly over 10k. That was also an 8:00 pm tip on 12/28 at a time a lot of people were off of work, or barely working, in that week between Christmas and New Years.
I'd love to see it, but LSU is not getting 10k asses in seats for a 6:00 pm tip on Wednesday in late January to see a 1-5 (SEC) team in year 3 of being on the struggle bus. If there are 7,500 actual assess in the seats by the 10:00 mark of the first half tonight it would exceed expectations

The only 2 things in favor are it's #1 team coming in and we played well @Bama on Saturday.

When Wade was there, they had some good looking frat Dudes in there quite frequently, lots of studs

When I arrived at LSU in 2017, weirdos and nerds made up the student section until the Wade brigade took off 2018-2020. Pmac was electric for Wade because he made an effort for student attendance, was very vocal, and a little bit crazy. Students ate that up.

And this team has zero passion. Just like its coach. No actual reactions to anything. Mac doesn’t seem to interact with the crowd or anything. Pearl is great at this. And the team and fans reflect that.

In 10 years these will be the guys posting to bring back McMahon

First, I respect and appreciate those guys showing up to support the team where very few are. I also know that the social media department is doing what they can do generate interest. But that's one I probably wouldn't have posted. The coach showing up to greet maybe a DOZEN "rabid" fans is not a particularly great look

That's not completely fair. I don't think the player's effort has been poor. It's the strategy and execution that are severely lacking.

I wouldn't be surprised at all if the ratio of Auburn fans to LSU fans was close to 50/50

What's crazy is I know all of those students that MM was greeting in that video. Not personally necessarily, but we acknowledged each other over the years as the few who went to the games in MM tenure.
They are all genuinely the biggest brownnosers you'll meet

Whoa, don't go that far. I didn't say (or see) dozenS, plural

The best part this season has been watching the guys fight and play hard. I don't think that they don't care. That's a different look.

Yeah, I was just being silly.
I think Alt and I had the same idea close to the same time, it's good they're out there, but I'm not sure that's good PR.
