quote:I agree to some extent. But alot of tackling is about leverage and assignments. It is easy to tackle a guy with no where to go because your teammates did their job. It is hard to tackle a guy with wide open fields because your teammates lost contain, or inside leverage...too often we had one on one situations when it should have been 2-3 on one.
It’s the players and coaching baw.
House wasn’t missing tackles

Getting trucked is a bad angle?

They're supposed to be taught how to tackle.
99% of these players have been playing football since peewee leagues, if you don't know how to tackle you would not be playing college football on any level...

When scheme is bad & techniques aren't taught properly those angles become wrong & lead to poor tackling.
You cannot be serious about scheme being what we saw a bunch of last season including Perkins.

LSU NEEDS TO CLEAN HOUSE WITH MOST OF THE PLAYERS

No indeed. The players play but coaching was horrible and House was making $1.9m? The responsibility falls on the coaches. Leave the players alone. We should expect better D play from here forward.
