The offensive pass interference no call on Riley Cooper in 09. Only touchdown in that game. Def could have won that one if Cooper didn't pull the DB back and throw him behind him.

Sort of surprised no one has brought up this one, but the long pass play late in the bowl game vs. Iowa in what I believe was Nick Saban's final game as LSU coach, I believe in 2004. Even more of a reason to dislike him--supposedly the outstanding defensive coach--as the Tigers snatched defeat from the jaws of victory.

I'd have to say the forward shovel pass interception in the NC will stick with me a long, long, long time.

This.

Then I read this on the Youtube comment

quote:

Yeah, we've been through this. He could've punched Early in the nuts and still not gotten a pass interference call because, in order to have pass interference, you MUST HAVE A CATCHABLE PASS. This pass was in no way catchable. I go to LSU, I wish they'd won this game, but the call? was made according to the rules.

Are you shitting me? Somebody please explain to me how that wasn't a catchable ball? Early was coming back to it and getting tackled I might add. The DB barely got a fingertip on the pass. If he didn't, it likely was going to be a catch...but nevermind the fact the other DB had his hands wrapped around him while the ball was in the air, making it harder to adjust...and it was still catachable...

Not the case. The pass interference came before the ball was deflected which made the pass uncatchable. LSU should have gotten that call and another shot.

There is no explanation for you. It was a missed call. In the heat of the moment when the officials met to discuss the play someone probably said the ball was tipped, and they went with it. It was textbook pass interference or holding at the very least, which wouldn't have been negated even if the ball were tipped.

That time in Auburn where Arby Fields got called out at the plate in the bottom of the 9th when he was clearly safe, therefore ending the game. That shite has haunted me for the last 10 minutes.

all of these mentioned are gut wrenching.
two that still bother me is jason kidd's game winner in the opening round of the '93 ncaa tourney.

dinardo calling a pass play on 3rd & 2 late in the 4th quarter against Auburn in '97. Takeo Spikes & the AU defense hadn't stopped Cecil Collins all night..... for whatever reason, our coaches thought it was best to let tyler pass instead of give it collins again.

The interception that "wasn't" by PP7. I still get pissed when I see the video or still pictures of that.

BS. Who knows if it would've changed the outcome of the game but that was a interception in the PROS.

Douchebag Instant Replay booth moron didn't see that. I damn near broke my tv when I saw that.
