This right, 10 to 55 to Lakeland (which is MS 25). 25 will take you to Starkville (You can travel at 70 on 25 but be careful and expect to get pulled over at 75). You can take 55 to 82 which will get you to Starkville also. Don't do 10/12 to Slidell, takes about 45 minutes longer. Trip will take about 9 1/2 hours. Fill up and eat in Jackson, there is little to stop at between Jackson and Starkville. Louisville has a couple of places for gas and food but they are all closed by midnight.

Try breakfast at City Bagel, expect lines.

re: Best moments of the football season

My best moment of the year was the LSU/Bama game, it was my daughter's birthday (both of us are graduates of LSU) and my wife and I just moved to Columbus, MS. My daughter came over to MS for the game and she and I drove over to tailgate that afternoon with intent that we would come home as we did not think we could get tickets. We found some and went to the game. It was the best present I have ever given her.

One of the high points of my Sunday is looking at the photos of the game.

Thanks and keep up the great work.

You have most of us addicted, how many more decades will your daughter be in school?
I'm with you; college football needs a new system to see who the best team is but really...... we don't need to decide it in the courts.

Why don't we just have the LBCS, Legal Bowl Championship Series, then teams like Harvard, Yale and Brown can win too! No need to let the players settle it; let's see whose lawyers are best. Not to mention, do Congress and the Department of Justice have nothing better to do than interfere with college football? Shouldn't they be worried about such issues as the economy, health care and perhaps crime? Oh well, no point in worrying, in this litigious society, may be Bama's lawyers are really better than Utah's.

I know...... why don't Utah, TCU and Boise join a conference worth being in?

Utah :wah: Boise :wah: TCY :wah:

re: $2,000 for one window?

It would appear that the true value for the money is permanent recognition in the stadium. As a former resident of North Stadium (1977), you could replace most of the windows on a hallway for $2k.

Nice Post!

I too read Dandy Don everyday. Lunch wouldn't be the same without him. I learn most of what I know about LSU sports from his website.

Prayers to he and his wife. :geauxtigers:

No I agree, my daughter and I were watching and she asked me what he said, I have no idea.
May be we could just borrow some old Penn State uniforms! Save the money. Another interesting comment - you can't tell it is LSU but you sure can tell its from Nike. Maybe we should keep the uniform and become the Nike Tigers!

Geaux Nike!!!!
Then by this same logic.....Satan's success is all due to that of Curley Hullman!
I have to agree. I believe that JL got thrown into the fire before he was ready. The pressure must have been nearly unbearable and the fans expected a senior level performance. Shame on us! I wish the best for him whether he stays or goes. He did an admirable job, better than any of us could have done. I only hope that what we did to him doesn't ruin him for the future.

With being said, good luck to him and all the other quarterbacks going into spring practice and may the best QB win.

Try going to class too! Hate to be the bummer but you'll go to more games by staying at least 4 years. I liked it so much I stayed 5.

Good luck and good decision. :pimp:

re: On the Arkansas' final play...

I went to Little Rock to see the game, a long way to go from Houston to see that. I noticed, for the first time, the defense could not seem to get the plays for the sideline coach all game long. If you watched the defense was constantly requesting the coaching staff hurry up with the play. The fumble recovery that was reversed was one such play. The coaches were late getting the call in and the defense never got into position and they left the receiver wide open.

Tough game, long way to go for such a poor defensive showing.

Flog yourself with a Cat O Nine Tails, it will be more rewarding in the end. :banghead: :spank:

Used to be a bar in the basement of Hatcher Hall too, it served only beer. Spent more than one night crawling back up the stairs to my room. That was back in 1977.
Win the Toss? Celebrate the victory, it might be the only one we get tomorrow afternoon. :yack:

Defer!
