it really is a first of it's kind! The story behind it all is absolutely cool as hell as well with paying homage to the 1918 silent season and LSU Alum who lost their lives in WW1. This is the type of stuff and season that brings the good vibes out man, the season of 18 could be magical! LET'S GEAUX TIGERS!

Okay. . . After reading a Forbes article and seeing more and more about these uniforms on NBC and other media outlets I'm beginning to hate this uniform less than I did. Actually, I'm starting tot like this one as a one game special look. Wonder if it will be possible to attain one of these helmets and jerseys from this game. (More appropriately, can I possibly afford one without hitting that huge Power Ball lottery!)

EXACTLY. The typical lazy reporting these days. Yes, it is interesting that a gallon costs that much, but anyone with the slightest amount of critical thought would ask this follow-up question. How far does one gallon go? How many helmets can you paint with just one gallon? Without something to compare it to the $1500 amount is somewhat meaningless.
Having said that, these helmets/uniforms look awesome. Can't wait to see them in person. Knowing the meaning behind them makes all the difference.
