Was the intro on TV. That was pretty impressive.

Unfortunately, the team did not live up to it.

You got that right. All day long ESPN was hyping up LSU as the best venue in college football.

Tiger Stadium has lost that status. I don’t blame anyone for leaving early last night, but it happens far too often. Factor in the team sucking, and it’s not #1 right now.

I used to love bringing some of my Longhorn and Ag friends to TS that had never been. Without fail, they left satisfied that LSU gameday experience was tops. It didn’t matter who the opponent was. Now, the hype atmosphere seems reserved for one or two games a season.

For sure. The team let us down last night. But anybody who watched after three quarters saw the exodus.

I think what everyone is missing is the fact that everyone stopped watching with us haha. We do it best, but that can only happen every so often. It's special. We aren't a cult like Texas A$m. They won and literally just played "calling Baton Rouge" it felt weird. We beat Ole Miss and the world knew about it.

That intro really was badass. I’ve never seen ESPN do an intro quite like that before. Usually there’s some kind of hype video or something in the intro for a big game like this, but that was way cooler.

Everything about it was great. The way Fowler/Herby stayed fairly quiet and let the stadium do the talking. The shots of the team in the tunnel (including what appeared to be a CCTV shot, that was cool). The wire cams flying around the stadium showing the crowd with the LEDs flashing on and off. The music (was that the music in the stadium?). Hell, the fact that they actually let it go on for like 5 minutes when they could have played commercials instead.

A+ from the production crew on that one. I was fricking hyped when the team finally came out.

Too bad it went downhill so quickly after that.

Link to video?

The pregame atmosphere was legit, as was the drone show…had a little buzz in the air walking into the stadium that I hadn’t felt in awhile, bummer result.

Wrong. See Ole Miss game.

But it won’t be long going into Kelly’s 4-5 year and continuing to shite the bed will drive that enthusiasm away and then Woody has a decision

We looked like the travel ball team that shows up to the tourney with matching bat bags embroidered with our names on them, a fancy banner to hang on the dugout, a sound system for walk up songs, and proceed to go 0-3 on the weekend scoring four total runs.
