Basketball really can’t afford another miss, fan support is basically dead. Wade will not only inject excitement back into the program, he’s proven he can win and recruit well here.

While I agree with the “fallen star” route, the guys you mentioned above all got hired pretty quickly once another school could. I think the fact that Marshall is still out of coaching 5 year later says a lot. He (allegedly) hit a player and many said he was just generally an a-hole to everyone. In a business where winning is often all that matters, there seems to be some pretty compelling reasons why he hasn’t been hired by anyone.
The marketplace will usually tell you something that may not be said out loud

Why is everyone so confident that tPear would actually want to come back?
