I doubt the Omaha Herald would suggest that.

Over or Under 4 runs for tonight's game Texas vs. UC Irvine.

I'll take the over.

No, they say adjust which is absurd. You cant ask the best teams to completely change the way the play in the most important games of the year.

quote:

Ole Miss led the Southeastern Conference in four offensive categories this season, including average (.303) and hits (697), and was second in runs (396), home runs (42) and triples (15). The Rebels also had 116 doubles.

In two CWS games, they have six hits (one for extra bases) and are hitting .105 (6 for 57). Their ninth-inning rally on Tuesday consisted of walk, error, bloop single.

Seriously they are 6-57 and have actually won a game. Its beyond pathetic.

Yes. Total. This side of the bracket is scoring more runs. I'd take the under for the other side of the bracket.

Omaha no longer deserves the CWS unless they agree to move the fences in some...not even the new ball next year will help TD Ameritrade that much...problem is they signed on til 2025??

8 Games played so far....NO HR's !

They did miraculously hit a ground rule double late last night in the 15th inning...

A few hits have reached the fence...one nice catch near the top of the fence.

2035 is when the contract is threw for Omaha and the CWS. that is 21 years.

at this rate those 21 years combined may have less home runs than 2009 it-self.

My bad, thought it was 2025.

There is literally no way the NCAA allows this continue much longer. The new ball is a start.

the bats in 2009 where perfect, but because every major sport in the united states has so concerned about safety that we have to hit with these crappy bats.

Does anyone know the rate that players have gotten hurt by the old bats compared to the new bats? Has anyone in college baseball been killed by a baseball that hit them? Does these new bats prevent that?

Yeah the bats will never be changed back. Too much PR bullshite at stake. I think the changes in the ball plus moving the fences in should/could help. Nothing they can do about the orientation of the stadium

It's one thing if this park played like say the Hoover Met. But it plays 10x bigger than that.

I was amazed how many balls were hit out at the Met this year. Glad to see some offense come back to this park.

at TDA it feels like every wall is 400+ feet away it plays that big.

Yeah that was odd to see this year. More homers than I can remember in a number of years.

I wonder if power hitters will start swinging wood. Not the entire team, but wood has more pop than this shite.

I don't think you can do that.
