I'm afraid reading the Rant has made watching LSU football less enjoyable.

I'm afraid of all the negatigers on here facing reality once we beat all those teams that they said would dominate us such as: Georgia, Auburn, Arkansas, Alabama, and Ole Miss. I'm also afraid of the negatigers showing their faces when they find out that both UW and Vanderbilt was really better than advertised and actually end up being bowl eligible. It start this week when USC visits UW. They may not win, however, they will get respect when it is all said and done.

I'm afraid to admit the fear I've heard from so many fans that TAF has officially ruined the Tiger Stadium experience by pricing out the better fans.

It's like in the 80's when Coca Cola swore up and down that the "New Coke" would taste better, so they tweaked with the coke recipe and replaced it with flat tasting horse piss compared to what coke used to taste like. That's what Tiger Stadium is like now compared to what it used to be.

If you watched the osu-usc game last nite you might have gained some insight as to where we are. Aside from the nauseating Herbie/Mushberger/espn over hype, what you saw was two pretty good teams stuggling to reduce mental mistakes while gaining game speed muscle memory. Those two teams didn't have to deal with monsoon rains and they still looked very average at times. They have talent...we have talent...Vanderbilt and UW both had talent but unlike usc and LSU, the other three all have one loss.

I agree. All the other posters were saying how USC was going to demolish OSU after the buckeyes almost lost to Navy. I told them that Navy is not a bad team and that the Triple Option is very hard to defend. Now, we have to see how USC is going to play Jake Locker. All these posters who think that we are out of every team's league is very delusional.

I'm afraid of this as well. I know he's a good athlete and is talented, but I am afraid LSU fans are basing how good he is because of how bad JL was last year.

I'm afraid Chavis is overrated.
I'm afraid that our O-line is young and ineffective. (scary that Les Miles thinks it's his best O-line ever, can he judge talent at all?)
I'm afraid that Miles has handcuffs on Crowton.
I'm afraid that JJ will have a really bad game against UGA or FLA
I'm afraid every time I see Jarrett Lee take the field

Not saying any of the above is absolutely true, but they are fears.

I'm not afraid of this statement. I have known this for years. Dumb can be synonymous with several other words besides negative, mind you.

You guys need therapy. Except the zombie guy. That's a perfectly rational fear.

I first posted that lsu will be ineffective in the trenches, which I still fear. But after thinking about it I think I really fear Crowton over thinking himself, expecially in big games. Over the last couple years this fear has reared its ugly head on way too many ocassions.

While I watch games I see him go against conventional play calling just because its what the D will expect.

I am afraid that our stubborn head coach is inhibiting our offense by not using Charles Scott appropriately. I.E., CS as fb, KW as tb in the eye on occasion and KW as our main back w/ the spread style as he is a better fit!

I am afraid O'Keefe torpedoed the program when he gave the clown and raise and extension when Michigan did not even have him on their radar. Miles' buyout will save his a** for another season or two. What a shame.

I'm afraid that Miles/Crowton are going to continue to baby Jefferson and limit the offense. They have to let him throw the ball down the field. Last season opponents were putting 8 guys in the box daring us to throw for good reason. We can't do that again this year, there is no reason to do that again this year. They could say we had to limit any sort of vertical passing game last night due to the weather and also against Washington due to it was the first game of the season with an unseasoned QB. Maybe that was the case and what Miles was thinking. But we had better get it going by the Georgia game in three weeks.

Has GC ever been accused of this? Can we be sure nothing else is going to explain the offense?
