I see valid points all over about the defense. I know our offensive scheme isn’t state-of-the-art. But wouldn’t just a little descent pass protection have made the difference? We had some success when he had time.

The OL is all hurt and has no depth. The pass protection should come as no surprise

Left Tackle is going get Burrow hurt. I dont care how many RB's and TE's you put over there to help, theyre just abysmally slow off the snap.

yeah I mean they’re pretty banged up though. the coaches had to know they weren’t gonna play all that well considering that. we HAD to scheme plays that would get the ball out of burrows hands early like quick slants, quick outs, etc. VERY poor performance by Ensminger

Now, all that being said, we still scored what would’ve been 20 points had we not had to go for 2 against what turned out to be a pretty darn good defense despite our banged up OL. I’m not trying to look for moral victories here but it seems like if we can either get healthy or scheme quicker throws then we’ll be putting up 30 on really good defenses. I think it’s a simple fix, but we’ll find out against UGA

They got beat a few times early sure but the offense was still running sideways and trying to throw downfield. Doesn’t matter who is blocking if the D is sending more than you have available to block you’re going to get best. That part is on E. Florida blitzed like 8 or 9 plays in a row and the offense was still running the same plays than ran when Florida was playing back. That’s inexcusable.

That sums it up perfectly....inexcusable. Inability to make adjustments is the hallmark of Ensminger's offense so far.

Exactly, and good coaching could fix the problem. But we have a DL coach as HC and a freaking TE coach as OC.

VERY poor performance by Ensminger

Play calling especially on last three possesions. Moving ball passing then to runs that get nothing then having to pass on 3rd down.

Charles had his worst game of his career. Not sure if he is still hurt or just isn't as good as he is hyped.
