Yes and Vandy is not a two time this decade national champion powerhouse.
Yea, that would be the team you are predicting to finish 3-4 down the stretch, AT BEST.

If we start out 3-0 in the SEC, we will finish no worse than 5-3 in conference imo.

Our last five SEC games...

Florida
Auburn
Alabama
Ole Miss
Arkansas

It would not take anything drastic happening to lose four of those.

We did something like that in 2008. We lost something like 5 of our last 7

If memory serves...that was our "Malveto" year?

But in 2009, we also limped to the finish line after a good start. After a 5-0 start, we were only 4-4 the rest of the way. Or, after a 7-1 start, we were only 2-3 the rest of the way, and the two wins were a lackluster win over La. Tech and an OT win at home over a 7-5 team.

Amen to that. I'd rather loose to ULM then Alabama and Ole Miss again. I think Florida is vulnerable because their offense looks worse than ours and we have a much better defense.

you have magical powers
GOD talked to you last night
You can see in to the future

GIVE IT A REST...Let the games be played, enjoy them or not, but save the b/s for after the season...

The truly sad part is that every game on the schedule is winnable. I'm not impressed at all with Florida. Auburn and Arkansas will be tough battles on the road but they aren't any better than us, and we have Bama at home.
With a good head coach, I'd be seriously entertaining thoughts of national championship.
But we don't have a good head coach. And an 8-4 season is more likely.
No, the truly sad part is you can't enjoy the season because you are are all doom and gloom. And, you're right...it sure would be great if we had a coach that had experience winning a SEC division, a SEC championship or a BCS bowl. Which coaches in the SEC have done that...help me out. Hell, just think how great if would be if we had coordinators that also had championship experience to go along with a head coach. If only we had all that....

If we go 3-0 in the SEC then we have beaten Miss State, TN and Florida. No way we win that game.

1 SEC win (Vandy) + 3 more = 4-0, not 3-0.

You could say that about every SEC & big OOC game, but IMHO wins against Bammer, the Runts & Arky, + competitve game at UF would make the season, regardless of what else happens.

Be careful about wishing for a new coach...given LSU's track record of HC hiring pre-$aban, the next coach could actually be worse. And this team wil have most of the two-deep back in 2011.

I think MIles has about a 14 million doallar buyout clause in his contract, if I were in that situation there wouldn't be shite in my life that was crucial as long as my family was healthy.

Yes I literally meant all 53 of them....

or I was referring to the depleted UNC team that was missing their entire secondary, and the Vanderbilt team with an atrocious offense vs. LSUs defense.

give it a rest, its getting old.

This is what is wrong with the human population. MOst animals let their brain-dead offspring die alone in the woods. As humans, we carry them along in life and let them think they actually have a valid opinion.

While I appreciate your humor, logically, since the OP used an "and" between Alabama and Ole Miss, that means that he would rather lose one game than two. I would agree, I would rather beat Bama AND Ole Miss and lose to ULM than beat ULM and lose to Bama AND Ole Miss - especially if wins over Bama and Miss would put LSU in the SECCG.

After all, ULM isn't a conference game.

We typically win the easier games at the start of the year and drop most towards the end of the year.
Under Miles, team rarely seems to get better as the year progresses.
