No way Miles stays if we do not go bowling or go to Shreveport.

This is the worst fail of all in this thread. The Independence Bowl doesn't have an SEC tie in anymore.

If we go 3-0 in the SEC then we have beaten Miss State, TN and Florida. No way we win that game.

I know Vandy sucks but they are in the SEC.

Yes and Vandy is not a two time this decade national champion powerhouse.

And therefore, Vandy does not count as a conference opponent. You are fricking dumb

Brah you don't get it. You have to win a title twice a decade to be in the SEC.

But they are a member of the SEC and that game does count as a conference win right? I guarantee every other SEC team on their schedule would count it as an SEC win.

This thread is a shining example of how delusional and ignorant LSU fans are and can be.

@Auburn, better teams have lost...
@Arkansas is a loss.
We haven't played these games yet, so technically, they are not a loss.

Do you mean "at worst"? If we're 5-0 going into Florida, then 8-4, while still very likely, is not our best scenario.

I agree if we lose two, then bowl eligibility is in doubt, though we'd still probably qualify at 6-6 or 7-5. Lose one, and I think we're still pretty much a lock for a bowl.

I think we drop 1 game...maybe to MSU or TN

I think MSU may be the toughest of the three and possibly the toughest of our first five.

6-6 or 7-5 would still probably get Miles fired no matter what bowl we go to. It should anyway.

The next three games are crucial for Miles....

I understand what you're saying. If the past couple of years are any indication, LSU will struggle in the second half of the season.
I foresee a 3-4 finish.
Therefore, yes, the next three games are crucial.
The truly sad part is that every game on the schedule is winnable. I'm not impressed at all with Florida. Auburn and Arkansas will be tough battles on the road but they aren't any better than us, and we have Bama at home.
With a good head coach, I'd be seriously entertaining thoughts of national championship.
But we don't have a good head coach. And an 8-4 season is more likely.

I hope Miles proves me wrong and come Sunday morning, like every Sunday morning, my voice will have been lost cheering for my Tigers on Saturday night.

Being objective doesn't make you any less of a fan.

I think we should take one game at a time and support our players and coaches.

Bama and Florida are guaranteed losses. We are outgunned coaching wise by a wide margin and also there is a talent gap

So LSU hasn't won against Bama or UF since Saban or Meyer have been coaching there? WRONG!!!

And if you've watched these schools play then you would know that (other than QB) there really isn't a "talent gap".

The stupidity around here is amazing!

Miles is having some luck too. WVU's all BE corner just got a dui and has been suspended indefinitely.
And unlike RROD, indefinitely for Stew likely means a long time. Certainly out for the Terps this sat., and almost a certainty out for LSU. he was the punt returner as well.

Bill Stewart (WVU) is as inept as any coach out there, our talent should win that one alone (as every other game thus far).

Miles actually has an edge in coaching in this one, even if you hate him just watch Stewart and WVU.....guy is clueless. Worst thing that could have happened to that program was him winning the Fiesta vs OU, thus giving him the job. They should have made Doc Holiday head coach IMO.

I agree. A rare game in which we don't have to worry about being outcoached.
