The New Box question

Does anyone know or can anyone see how the outfield bleachers are gonna be placed? Is each section gonna be on both sides of the scoreboard or are both sections going to be to the left of it. Some of the pics on the makeyourpitch website vary. Some even have the seats under the scoreboard.

I don't think it is going to be finished in time for the first home game. A buddy of mine drove by yesterday and said it was a long way from being done.

good question. not really sure. i think its safe to assume we wont be able to see the new scoreboard very well at all.

Has it ever been addressed of why the placement of the scoreboard is in left field,which restricts viewing from the homerun bleachers, and not in center or right center where it can be viewed by the entire crowd?

The pics of the new scoreboard make the line score box look pretty small. I'm sure it'll be fine though. 
ETA: It used to be in left field forever. They moved it around the 2000 season I think.

well the reason its not in center is obvious. my guess is the reason its not in right is because there are plans to build a berm in right. just a guess though.

Judging by the pictures of the support I believe the bleachers are going to go to the left of it or on both sides. The supports look flush with the fence so I dotn see how it could be behind the bleachers. It really should be in RF considering they are not going to move the intimidator.

correct, its tentatively set to be built in 2011

If you think the scoreboard is flush against the fence because of the update pic, just think about depth perception. I'm almost 100% positive that the scoreboard is behind the bleachers

If you look at the picture on lsusports you cannot tell but there was a pic posted on here that was from the side and it looked like the support beams were within 2 feet of the fence.

that's what i thought at first too, but looking at the new pics today, the bleachers are infront of the scoreboard,
