I'm content with the LSU Tigers whether we go 12-1, 10-2, 9-3 or 8-4 and go to a good bowl game. I'm content, as long as Coach Miles is at the helm.

The only the negatigers have going for them is the ignorance to not know when to shut the frick up. Keep cramming the real world up their asses. It's fun watching them deny it.

There's so much dumb in this article it defies description.
1) I know of NO "negatigers" that wishes actual ill to the program. They wish for success, and their "negativism" is because the teams does not achieve that success (namely, the reasons WHY). The fact that this is a main premise of the article renders it meaningless.
2) I have an undergraduate and advanced degree from LSU, and hae been a season ticket holder since Hallman's last season, so he can frick himself.
3) "Nega-tigers" do know where the program's been, and where it is. Their concern is where it is going.

first off, i'm not a negatiger and have no problem with gay rights, but his "hate gays bowl" comment was just out of place with everything else in the article. it was a bad move.
next, i agree with most of what he says. where i divert is i don't think negatigers want to see LSU fail. they want to see miles fail. i know they're the same thing basically but i think most negatigers want what they think is best for LSU, they're just misguided like a batman villain.
they're also the bane of my existence.

This kind of thinking is borderline Nazism.
Reminds me of a person who told me that because I did not have a "support our troops" sign in my front yard, I was part of the problem in this country.
Yeah, right. Because I didn't wear my patriotism on my sleeve and didn't want a tacky sign on my lawn, it meant THAT I WANTED OUR TROOPS TO DIE AND I WANTED AMERICA TO LOSE THE WAR. That kind of conformist thinking is offensive and it pisses me off.
Screw the bullies. I'll think for myself, thank you.

The Negatiger is that drunken uncle that's always ruining christmas and making grandma cry because he's a born loser that just can't shut the frick up and isn't happy until everyone is as miserable as he is. It would be nice if we could just beat the shite out of them, but then they've still done what they came to do. Rain on the parade.

No they don't
They acknowledge that his ignorant decision against Alabama not to go for a first down, run up the middle on 3rd and 8, and settle for borderline field goal at the end of the game cost us the game, not to mention that going into a prevent defense when the opponent only needs a field goal to tie the game was dumb, and that it was pathetic that we only got two passes and a sack off in the final minute of that same game.
But the sunshine pumpers interpret this as "WAAAAAHHHHH! WE WANT NICK SABAN BACK!" I wish that this would have happened against anybody other than Alabama so that you could understand our point of view without discussing the elephant in the room.

There is a lot of truth in this - not sure why some people are just generally negative as they go through life.

First, we have to agree on a definition for negatiger. I don't think we should include any fan who is negative about a play or a game or even coach Miles. A negatiger is someone who is negative all the time and firmly believes that only through the expression of negativism can we expect to see improvement. A negatiger justifies his/her negativism as an expression of their passion for LSU and their desire to see it get better, but they are never satisfied. By nature, they will never be satisfied. There may be only a few true negatigers, but they dominate message boards because they see the expression of their negativity as a cause. This is not much different from any internet message borad. They tend to be dominated by negative thinkers. The rest of us are forced to tolerate them to try to have a rational discussion.
