Unless you admit blame like we just did. Especially with NIL and everything else.

You need to be banned. Starting threads over and over and sounding like a complete idiot.

He actually is correct. Admitting anything to NCAA gets you nowhere.

President William F. Tate IV and athletic director Scott Woodward said in a statement “our decision to terminate Coach Wade and Coach Armstrong is not an acknowledgement of agreement with any of the allegations,” but the school intends to cooperate.

LSU didn’t admit blame. Will Wade got caught doing illegal things.

And for the people that don’t get it he was doing things that are still illegal in today’s NIL.

I will miss Will Wade but he brought this on himself by being sloppy. I know every school does what he did but the head coach of those schools don’t do it. All traces go to an assistant that takes the heat and the coaches just play dumb.

But LSU isn’t being accused anymore. There was an investigation and they were told the facts the investigation found.

It’s not about admitting or not admitting anymore. It’s about dealing with the fact the head coach was caught doing illegal things. I would have been ok had they kept Wade even with the allegations but the administration thought differently.

This is the same thing I said when they gave themselves a bowl ban last season. Woodward and Emmert are very close. You don’t think he called his buddy up and asked “if I fire the coach will that look better in the eyes of the NCAA?”

Not necessarily. Wade's contract said that he could be fired if there were level 1 allegations. What if Woodward just wanted to hire his own guy and this was a way to get Wade out?

And was Self at Kansas or coach K not doing those same things? Kansas just won the big 12 tourney.

Some of you are just blatantly ignorant. LSU didn’t admit anything! The NCAA has everything, because “general “ Wade was too dumb to cheat like the rest of them. Wade made this so easy for them that you can’t even dispute the charges against him. It absolutely shows how in over his head Wade really was.

We have a massive institutional problem if that’s the case. I pray it’s not.

Reading the NOA I suspect Wade and Armstrong got fired for failure to cooperate with the investigation. Wade did not turn over all the info he was supposed to and his response was akin to his dog ate his homework. So what Tate said in his letter is consistent with not admitting guilt.

You complaining about another poster regurgitating the same shite over and over is a riot. You post more than anyone else on this site and have been a member for about 5 minutes.

Not really if Woodward decided that all the backlash from the FBI tape wasn't worth the hassle and made him not trust Wade.

My jaw almost broke from the shock of him saying I should be banned. That dude seriously post nothing but completely anti-LSU stuff in every single basketball thread.

C’mon man! What about the recorded phone conversations, text messages and money transfers from personal accounts do you not understand? Which would you rather be in this case, the prosecutor or the defense? WW did this to himself and, for what he did, should have fired.

Not true. I can set up an LLC right now in Texas for a recruit to UT and that LLC can have the player’s name, image or likeness on ANYTHING like my personal vehicle advertising my “fill in the name” business. While you may say, he can’t give money now, he doesn’t have to anymore because they can show the agent the LLC’s funding….

Just legal to do it and now La has changed its law or may be changing it soon to allow the same thing.
