LSU fans are the most fierce and best in the country, however, just like any other school we have our share of morons.

Hmm with 4-5 star players losing to sucky teams?? And Jones making bone head decisions, even a church league basketball coach makes better decisions

Well, in the Rant's defense(cringe) he did a pretty decent job of embarrassing himself on national TV again so maybe those names are fitting...

-no inbounds play
-poor free throw shooting
These items are on the coach (believe it or not)
-no consistency
-no intensity
-no situational awareness
These too are on the coach

As a guy who had a very undistinguished career playing point guard, I have always stated (somewhat biased albeit) that point guards make the best coaches. I loved watching JJ run the point for LSU. I thought "Good point guard, good coach"... And I was wrong.

***please note, I watched JJ play at LSU. That means I am not between the age of 12 and 17**

Re the comment bout JJ & integrity. Do you honestly think that JJ, under Daddy Dale's guidance & control, was not offering illegal benefits left & right back then? Hard to look past the fact that this team has been making the same mistakes all season long, and that we've lost too many games in the last minutes, all season long. If Chavis was bad because of this, why isn't JJ getting the same level of blame?

Questioning the coaching decisions and the performance is legitimate. Name calling is not. I have read all of the posts on this thread. I ask, "how are you in your life in pressure decisions?" "Are you perfect?" Jones has made some questionable decisions, but he rarely gets credit when he does a good of coaching games and he has done a good job at times. To say he can't coach is simplistic.

I honestly think some of our fans would be happy if LSU fired at least one coach a year just for the hell of it. Many of those who call him names are likely not satisfied with their own lives. I believe that many of the name callers would not have the guts to say their insults to his face.

I think Johnny Jones will be successful when all is said and done. He has improved the program since he has been here. As for the the shot clock violation, how do you know that he didn't tell his players there were only 5 seconds left on the clock. He went ballistic on Josh Gray right after that.

To those who think you could coach better in any sport. Try it. No, Fantasy Teams and Madden teams to not count.
