Lulz. So you think that negates the overall offensive rankings that were posted?
Lulz

Yes, National O rank means diddly, as the context of competition is skewed.
If it meant anything, LaTech, Houston, Toledo, Troy, Nevada, TTU, et.al, would've all authored books on winning NCs.

If I were to use a metric involving all 119, 120, 124 or whatever teams, it wouls be scoring offense anyway.
I could care less how well a team moves between their's and opps goal line.
Points win contests, not yards.

I think you mean when Perrilloux fricked up.

Perrilloux? Nah, he'd have been gone by 2010 anyway

I mean who knows, if Hatch never got knocked unconscious against Auburn and never lost his spot to Lee/Jefferson, who knows who many straight NCs we'd have won

yes, I am so much butthurt. amazing that I can't let this game go.
but, in hindsight, both qbs were not really good. I think it is amazing what lm, stud and chief achieved. it was a GREAT year.
i'm also butthurt that the media gave al the mulligan and they had no seccg and no injuries to heal for the ncg.

hurt.

What's amazing is clowns here looking at stats from a game that fell between a comeback win at Florida and getting ready to take on the #1 Auburn Tigers and trying to make some kind of big deal out of that game.

His statlines for the SECCG and MNC are two of the worst I have ever seen form a D1 QB...period. Let alone for the stage of those games.

It is disgraceful.

The hypocrisy of the JJ haters/Lee knights is just comical at this point.

the inability of Les Miles teams to put inferior opponents away, along with the lack of focus after losing the Bama game or other big SEC games, have become a hallmark for this program in recent years and actually say something profound about LSU in the bigger scheme of things.

Were you one of the ones that I asked for a comparison of defense faced stats prior to 11/5 and after? I asked two JJ pumpers, but neither one answered. Frankly, y'all all spout the same bull shite, so I can't tell y'all apart.

Yes, you keep posting this. We all get it. What you don't seem to comprehend is that he was pulled in that game, and rightfully so, IMO. On the flipside, when JJ was squatting and taking a big shite in the bed on 1/9, not only was he left in, but we took a spotlight and shined it on his arse for all the world to watch the shitting performance.

Now get the hell out of here.

how is hypocrisy to point out the actual, factual statlines of two full games of JJ awfulness?

They really happened. He really played that awful.

So you're saying that in just a couple series Lee was able to rack up nearly as many passing yards against Bama as JJ did against UGA and Bama in playing 2 whole games?

wow, way to shoot your own idiotic argument down in one quick play. well done!

To be fair that was what a quarter-quarter half worth of play?

Those stats on JJ were 2 complete games.
I wouldn't make that argument if I were you.

Lets move on.
Those days are long gone.

Not sure what you think this proves??

Tennessee, Florida, WV, and Arkansas were all within 10 spots of each other, and JJ had the best QB numbers of the year against Arkansas with the SEC West on the line.

I've never said Lee didn't have a good year. I supported him in 08 and cheered for him every step of the way in 2011. See some people can actually cheer for both while also acknowledging both's flaws.

But Lee could never handle a Saban D. That was proven time and time again outside of one throw in 2010 with LSU already in the lead and a first down ends the game.

I keep posting it in response to people posting JJ's stats saying they are THE WORST THEY"VE EVER SEEN. Clearly those folks haven't seen Lee's on 11/5, so I help them out so they don't sound so uninformed.

As someone who has rewatched 1/9, I posted a breakdown of JJ's performance in that game and why it never really made sense to bring Lee in on page 8 of this thread, which I doubt you took the time to read because you made up your mind about what happened that night, if not even before.

JJ was not the reason we lost on 1/9, just like he wasn't the reason we won on 11/5.

Our QBs in 2011 couldn't beat Bama. That's just an unsatisfying fact.

If the D and ST didn't beat Bama for us, neither of our QBs were going to do it.
