Yeah, those extended timeouts with the refs looking at the monitors led to some football stadium-sounding singalongs. Good recruiting footage we can use from that game. It sounded and looked fun and exciting in there.

Anthony Jordan put his headset on to review a call and Calling Baton Rouge started right after. Then he decided and took his headset off right after Calling Baton Rouge ended. It wasn’t a difficult call. I think he just wanted to listen to some Garth and let the crowd party.

I would have been thrilled if they had more than the same 5 songs playing on repeat. I thought that’s why we hired a DJ for every game

I absolutely LOVE the band at football games, but they play way too much at basketball games. The piped in music has the PMAC going NUTS and when the band played it was ehh. I’m speaking from a students perspective so it may have been different in other parts of the arena.

It’s lame as shite how they play Calling Baton Rouge after every single opponent’s pitching change at baseball games. But it’s awesome when it’s placed well like yesterday.

They play it at the under 4 timeout but they only played it for like 15 seconds in that spot yesterday so it didn’t really count.

I'm giving a "like" to this one, but truth be told I'm an old fart these days. I really prefer the days when it was just the Bengal Brass Basketball Band playing during the timeouts and at the half. The prerecorded DJ nusic just takes something away from it for me. But, then again, I'm an old fart. If it pumps up the current student section and the team, then what the hell can it hurt?

Sheesh! I never thought I'd be like this at 50 years old!

Dammit! Now that I see this I know without a doubt that I'm an old f**cker! Y'all kids do what you will and enjpy the game and the atmosphere!

I don't know if anyone noticed, but when he finished and went to tell the coaches what the final call was, he was wearing a cowboy hat.

I think we need more 11am games.

The students are still drunk from the night before. The blue hairs are at their energetic peak for the day and the dads with families are home by 3 and therefor do not need to use a hall pass with the wife
