Was undoubtedly the 4th and 10. Over 8 minutes to go into the game, down two possessions, and you go for it on fourth and TEN in your own territory. Even if you convert you aren’t guaranteed to score, but if you don’t it’s game over. It felt like Kiffin got frustrated, said f it, and made an emotional decision. I’m still a definitely a believer in Kiffin, but a head coach at this level should be making rational, calculated decisions regardless of the flow of the game.

You could say this about most of his fourth down decisions

It was a wtf moment, but I get the rationale behind it. You hadnt stopped them in awhile and pretty much all your previous drives were pretty long, so time was an issue. It was definitely a hail mary.

Sure there is some rationale behind it. But I mean shite, we could’ve punted and bama put the ball on the ground, or a pick 6, hell maybe a muff.

I think it was the team thinking the game was over after going up 13-10 at the end of the 3rd

Mine was in the first half seeing Trey Dez out wide with a one on one on 3rd and goal from the 5 and Leavitt never looking his way.

I agree we should’ve punted. But I also believe bama would’ve marched down the field and scored anyway.

Analytics analytics analytics analytics

What did the analytics say?

I bet the analytics didn't say go for it.

Funny thing about analytics is you can use them to support decisions that don't make logical sense.

Then you can ignore the analytics when the analytics say to do something against what you think saying that analytics don't take into account game flow
