He is correct...that's right. Guess what...the flu, pneumonia, and a host of other things kill people too. You always hear no underlying health issues...when people honestly don't know. There's a reason this virus, the flu, pneumonia, etc, hit certain people harder than others.

Your statement is not accurate. While the vaccines do not prevent spread, they significantly reduce the likelihood that one who contracts COVID ends up severely ill, in a hospital, or dead. Those results are not questionable. Go check out state health department numbers from any state, including Louisiana. The vaccine is not a cure-all for COVID but it certainly leads to better health outcomes.

Explain Israel. Thanks

I work for a hospital and report data to regulatory agencies. I see the numbers. Unless my co-workers are not being truthful on the facts, the numbers are accurate. If you believe that you can't trust anything the government says, there is no reason for you and I to further discuss anything, BTW, I have never voted for a Democrat in my life.

You and.i are the same except for one thing. I didnt take an experimental drug like a blind sheep. So tell me again why I should get it?

No, it's not. As for the rest of your post... you can damn near guarantee that LSU will not be the only school to do this.

I have two coworkers, one 31 and one 49, that said the same thing.

They ended up taking the experimental emergency use monoclonal antibody treatment though.

@Jaydeaux

Israel is easy to explain. The vaccine does not stop the spread, as we all know, and the infection rate advanced after all restrictions were lifted. Of course the infection rate was going to increase. Admissions to ICUs for vaccinated folks in Israel was 1/20 of the rate for unvaccinated folks. Not sure what you are arguing, honestly.

Then it is NOT a vaccine. There is no other shot that is called a vaccine with such shitty results. I know quite a few people who got the shot and got sick. Some twice or more, once from the shot and then from the virus that the shot failed to prevent. They recommend not getting the shot because they think it is better if you don't, especially the ones who have had the virus multiple times after getting the fake vaccine

I have not gotten the shot and haven't gotten the virus. I don't understand why people who talk up the shot are so worried about others. If the shot is as wonderful as people say they shouldn't have to be concerned about what others do. Their being concerned is just more evidence to me to not get the fake vaccine

Monoclonal antibody therapy is really not experimental.

is that the "vaccinated" do not need to show a negative test result. If anyone contracts the virus from attending an LSU game, it will be from a positive "vaccinated" person.

Wasting your time on this one. He/she is an expert on covid because he/she supposedly works in a hospital. Just another activist.

Let me be clear. I don't care if you or anyone else gets the shot. That's up to each individual. All I responded to were claims that the vaccine "didn't work" which I interpret as "has zero benefit". That is false. The benefits may not outweigh the cost for you and I am fine with that. Don't get vaccinated. Saying they have zero benefit, however, is plainly inaccurate.

Your statement is correct and we are learning more every day. It’s basically the same answer I gave my 20 yr old yesterday when he questioned me. As for right now, I am home from work because of Covid. However, because of being vaccinated earlier this year I had milder symptoms and a quicker recovery. I also suggest the monoclonal infusion ASAP after diagnosis.
