Agreed. You can’t knock him for getting the talent.

The thing is that 2013 team was insanely talented. They had 22 nfl players starting on both sides of the ball. I believe since then Jimbo is like 26-20 or something against P5 teams? I don’t know the exacts but it’s not exactly elite. I would gladly take him at LSU. I think any above avg coach could excel here.. but he’s definitely come down to earth since that championship. Still solid.

LSU fans should be content with 8-9 wins a year and the occasional 10 win team thanks to the cupcake they play

You’re saying their downward trends are equal yet you wanted Miles fired.

Jimbo on the other hand 10-$75mil

Totally equal

I beleive coaches, besides unicorns, burnout. I think Miles was burned out. I didn't think Jimbo was last year
I am worried after seeing him this year, and the collapse of that team that is ultra talented, that Jimbo maybe burned out as well

You mean the guy who has had a number one recruiting class, Heisman winning QB, 3 1st round pick qbs, a national championship etc? Yea, who wants that guy. Orgeron has done all of that.

The same guy who took Ed’s two biggest recruits last year, Marvin Wilson and Cam Akers???

Explain your reasoning then why you wanted Miles fired.

Jimbo wasn’t even close to being fired

They aren’t a like & you know it

You have to give more then that if you’re trying to prove your point

You can’t say they are both burnt out & cite their records like it’s some type of proof. Especially when one was justifiably fired & another will never likely be fired

Jimbo would have been fired at lsu this year. We fired miles for being 2-2 after his 10-3 season.....

John James was 2-5 or so I beleive st one point.

Correct. Can’t exactly fire a coach with a .783 winning percentage. That’s better than the FSU God, Bobby Bowden, btw...

Are you?

We fired miles who had a .770 win pct for slipping after a 10-3 season by being 2-2

Jimbo is a .783 winning coach who slipped to 2-5 after his 10-3 season.....

The natives would have made a John James gumbo before November came around

No, your emotion blinds out from logic

You are emotionally involved with lsu so any negative outcome has an impact on you

We fired miles, who had almost identical success as Jimbo for "slipping" and letting the game pass him by

The facts were he was 8-5, 10-3, 2-2

If Jimbo was here, and part of your emotional attachment, 10-3,10,3, 2-5 would have had you and everyone else even more furious
