The LSU "terrible towels"... What did you think?

I personally didn't like them. I understand it might've looked cool on TV but I think the stadium would've been even louder if EVERY fan was clapping their hands. Thoughts?

did they give these only to the student section, or did I just miss getting one?...I went in pretty early and didn't see anyone in my section with one...
and yes, I think it would have been louder if everyone was clapping...but honestly, it was so damn loud anyway, I don't think anyone would have noticed the difference....

In all honesty, who actually claps? I will yell my arse off but I'm pretty sure I've never actually clapped unless we score or get a big defensive play. I've never clapped during those moments before the opponent snaps the ball.

I like having one as a souvenir esp if we would've held on for the win. I was better off yelling and pumping my fist during the game tho. Could never get the 'towel rythm' down.

My thoughts are that I'm the real Big EZ Tiger and every fan doesn't clap anyway. It was electric in Tiger Stadium and it looked good. I'm about one of the three people that didn't get one for some reason, but I noticed people that don't normally do much of anything standing, hollering and waving them. My thoughts are that for a one-off thing, it was good. Great atmosphere.

Literally told the entire student section an hour before to only use them on kick off...did it work, NO! Clapping is a million times better.

Looked cool but they were always in my line of sight when the lady in front of me was waving it every play. Was a little irritating.

I was about to say---clapping?
I don't yell and clap at the same time..i cup my hands to yell louder and the only time i clap is when the band is playing or after we make a good play

While I somewhat agree with you, do you really think that you have the authority to tell the ENTIRE student section what to do? Just because you wait in line a day before the game and sit in the front row with a painted body doesnt mean that you are better than any fan there...
