JJ appears to be regressing, based on his first 3 games. Why should we be expecting him to be improved this week? Until JJ understands that he has 3 or more receivers to throw to, he won't be any more successful than in the first 3 games. Watch closely and you will see the disgust on the WR receivers faces when he throw a pass short, high, or too far outside to catch.

I do think we are better this year than last year if for no other reason than he as been in the system one year longer. Now, the one instance and I mean instance this year was last week when Moo Moo scored right after the half and JJ took the offense and walked right down the field and took control of the game right when everyone was saying I knew it was just a matter of time before, Before JJ did what he needed to do and Miles told him to show everyone they could do it and they did it.

I know that is only one instance but to me when they scored I said to my wife right then I knew they could do it if they really had to and they did it just to show everyone they could. I am looking for a big Offensive showing this week or at least as big as they need to put the game away without showing Florida and Bama what they realy do have.

I SAY! 34-10!

I SAY!

Sometimes you have to take a step back before you can take a step forward. Jefferson was pressing in the Vandy game. Maybe he was sick. Maybe he was having an off day. Doesn't matter. He was OBVIOUSLY pressing. So it makes perfect sense to put him into a situation where he doesn't press.

Is he being "pressed" during warmups? I'd like to know this. He has a timing issue throwing deep. Reminds me of Brent Schaeffer from Ole' Miss.

just me, I sincerely wish you were correct in your steadfast defenses of this offense. You will not see the offense improve as we face more difficult opponents. We are already one dimensional (all run). The offense isn't holding back the passing plays, that's absurd.

We don't pass well, because we can't pass well. Unless we go to the I formation and pass off of play action and line up with in a consistent formation and use consistent personnel, we will remain predictable and ineffective.

Stay positive though. I admire your optimism.

2003 passing yards for Mauck vs UGA in SECCG-151. and vs OU in NC game-124

Does that matter when you had Justin Vincent and one of the best Defense's in the history of college football??

What we currently see is the Crowton's offensive scheme. It has never been effective. It shouldn't be a surprise

Sorry to say but you're dead wrong. This statement obviously shows you know nothing of what Crowton has done in the past at all the places he has coached and the type of offense's he has run.

He's run this offense at BYU, Oregon, and LSU

I'm sorry but this crap you see LSU run was not what he ran at BYU or at Oregon. He did some impressive things in his tenure at BYU. His defense's sucked donkey balls and they weren't a tough group thus why the program declined. He was only at Oregon 2 years and the offense when he was there was good until their starting QB got hurt. The guy tore people new butt holes for years at La Tech as the OC and Head Coach and did some impressive things with the Bears. I have seen Crowton scheme and call plays at all those places and I'm telling you that God awful crap you see being run at LSU is NOTHING EVEN CLOSE to what he has done in the past.

Exactly. I'm sick of everyone blaming GC. Whether I like him or not, it's LM's fault. If Les doesn't like what he's doing then he should get rid of him. GC puts points on the board, and if he could play JL like I think he wants to, we would. With that being said, some of those points may be on the wrong end of the board, but JL had a Freshman season similar to both Matt Stafford, and Colt McCoy as far as statistics go. Pick 6s are somewhat of a team effort with play calling and bad tackling, but JL is ultimately to blame.
