The Bama game was unbelievable how Crowton/Miles put that game on JL's shoulders when they didn't need to. I was shocked at some of the playcalling early and late.
Ditto. 38 pass attempts or something crazy.
When both RB's were near 100 yards rushing

If JJ goes the distance, then we lose that game. Everyone knows that except you apparently.
Powerman can see the future.
Noted.

Holy frick man!!!
JJ went 3/10 for 30 yards 2 INTs and 1 fluke 80 yard TD on the first play of the game.

Do you think we win if Lee never steps on the field?

Even 7thward would agree they lsu loses with only JJ playing.

So was it Lee or Crowton in '08 to blame? You put the blame on Lee for the picks, but Crowton is supposedly the reason behind the poorly developed QB's. Which is it?
Crowton did a miserable job. Forget QB development, his playcalling stunk.

Lee being a freshman you should expect some bad play typical of freshmen.
Agreed. But we can acknowledge it was bad play and it did either cost us games or force us to be in battles we probably wouldn't have been in (Like USC, which the OP was claiming we won because of Lee)...

I can't remember the specific playcalling right now. But that doesn't sound surprising.

Right...but Lee's one INT was the real killer in that game...

Do we beat Alabama on November 5th if JJ never steps on the field?
There's really no way to know. Strange things happen in football games all the time.
Up until the 4th quarter vs. Tennessee, Lee had done nothing, and had not moved the offense. He launched a ball to Randle in what was a really good throw... then turned around and threw a pick.
He did make some great, tough throws on the last drive and he should be given credit, but it doesn't mean we should celebrate this performance as some type of all-timer, much less his career as if he's saved arguably the best coach in school history.

JL must've knocked up OBU's gf. Any thread that even mentions JL, I can almost guarantee hes in it trying to put down JL.

What were Lee's numbers before the final drive?
Discrediting a play and calling it a fluke is silly.

No, I pretty clearly stated that Jarrett, nor JJ moved the ball with any sort of consistency all game.
You seem to think Lee's performance vs. Tennessee is one of the greatest games you've ever seen a QB play.

Lee did what many talented, but undisciplined FR QB's do and that it win you some games, but lose you some games. The UGA was not one of them as I've seen posted. Our defense got bitch-slapped and LSU had to play desperate late.

30-something passes and the first pick six was deep in our territory that bounced off of Byrd's hands/shoulders as he was prepping for getting rocked. Bad play on his part. Not a good pass and a terrible play call down there.

That is his goal in life. Any good news on JL will get him started with his hatred. Please everyone, try to ignore him. Birds of a feather flock together. Loser will always favor another loser. But I don't blame JJ for this mess. I blame the coaches. @ in particular. This chapter has been written.

I will post this again because it needs to be stated again.
It is clear you have a bias against Lee. Everyone knows that neither Lee or JJ are good QBs. Just admit that for personal reasons, you don't like Lee. It is okay, you don't have to like every player that has ever played at LSU.

Lee was doomed from the start. He was not prepared to be thrown into the SEC yet. Having Crowton as his coach was another huge handicap.
Hindsight is 20/20 of course.

I'm glad he scored there. Honestly.
But that was a fluke TD.

I agree.
The burden for that poor season doesn't fall squarely on him.
As for UGA, I agree, the awful defense probably means we lose that game regardless. But we did only lose by 14 and Lee did directly give them 14 points.

Ah, I remember that better now.

But it was a TD nonetheless and we can't win that game without it.

I don't think so. I don't think he's a very good player. A lot of people on here treat his play as if he's a Brady/Brees/Manning type of QB that Miles so ignorantly and stupidly ignored.
To me, he was a horribly flawed/limited player, just like JJ.

The only player to ever play for LSU that I don't like is Ryan Perrilloux.
If I'm biased about anything/anyone it's Miles, and the major chunk of my arguments against Lee stem from me trusting Miles' decision to play JJ over him.
Obviously Miles made a huge mistake not playing Lee against Bama the 2nd time.
