I gotta say Tyrann's attitude and willingness to sacrifice himself on every play has him climbing my list very fast... that and the fact he isn't much bigger than I am lol.

Quinn Johnson.
Got moved to a new position - one that had no glamour. But instead of pouting and complaining, he embraced it and became a fan favorite.

Sure. I'm almost 100.
I've been a fan since Gus Tinsley was the coach.
Tyrann will be on your list of top players before he leaves LSU.

Matt Mauck--Conservative QB who was a leader. Simply went out and got the job done each time. Wish LSU would have had a lot more guys like this on their roster throughout history.

Jamarcus easily.
Watching him play was just jaw dropping. His accuracy and arm strength along with his size. His talent and ability was otherworldly. I'll always remember what Les said about the offensive changes going into 2007. Something along the lines of "well we won't be running that play action throw the ball 60+ yards play very much anymore." The way he played in the second half against Tenn in 06 was straight up beast mode.
Lots of people like to focus on Aub and Fla in 06 but he was responsible for a frickton of last second victories in his three years playing here. He was clutch way more often than he was not.
that 4th down pass to Early in 2005 against ASU will always be one of the most memorable plays in LSU history.

Kevin Faulk, because I honestly beleive he loves LSU as much as I do.

I really hated it for Kevin Faulk that he was a part of those horrible 98-99 squads.

Dorsey.
He came back for the senior season and helped get us another crystal ball. Played his heart out and almost got crippled by the scummiest piece of Auburn shite ever, Chaz Chop Block Ramsey.

Haven't read through the entire thread but if no one has said it yet I'll go ahead and say Doug Planchard. I don't know if we have ever had more of a class act. Absolute animal on the football field and role model off it.
ETA: Serious answers
Kevin Faulk- was a kid during his days and absolutely loved him. Inspired my love for the Tigers
LaRon Landry- bringing the wood all day
Jacob Hester- just an absolute workhorse and the most reliable player I think we have ever had
TM7- He has the potential to be at the top of this list when it is all said and done. Love his passion and intensity and big play ability

I used to get so excited about watching Herb Tyler play. He could make things happen.
