So it's your position that there's not another DC to call the defensive side of the ball. You go irrational every time. I guarantee you that if Aranda, God forbid, left LSU would find another DC to come run the defense.

You realize we mean someone of equal talent right? Not just any other defensive coordinator.

We all know there are thousands of defensive coordinators. But Aranda is quite possibly the best in the nation. I am waiting on 4-5 names that Topwater said would be an upgrade from Aranda should he leave.

Additionally, what are the odds that one of those superior DCs is also one of Orgeron's buddies?

Because he is saying the opposite and I think if you are going to spout off on something you should be forced to support your argument or called out for being full of shot.

Well I mean Post as in after the game his record was 40-6 which it was at that point.

While technically not wrong, I get that I made my point poorly

what did you think of the 2005 game where Miles tried to call timeout after an interception?

or in 2007 losses, the mismanagement of personnel, specifically continuing to give Jacob Hester the ball against Kentucky when Charles Scott was shredding them

Les lost the 2 games immediately after Troy in 2008 4 games in 2009 and 2 in 2010 that’s 8 so where are you getting 40-6 from?

Depends on who's coaching.

Not great calls and bad coaching but the shitty moments are a lot easier to pick out in a 114-34 career.

The 4th down calls vs Florida in 2007. Dominating Ohio’s. star.

The TE reverse VS Alabama in 2010.

Winning as many games as he did with JJ and JL as his QBs.

He’s had some good moments too.

Ah, but when I try to bring up Orgeron's numerous gaffes, those don't matter.

It can but Aside from being poorly worded you’re still not correct

He was 34-6 his first 3 years (2005-2007) and had 3 losses in 2008 going into the Troy game. He won the first 4 in 08 so he was 38-6 going into Florida that year.

ETA: I got it now, he had 40 wins after Troy, so 40-9

Yeah I was off by a loss, and was confusing. You’re right.

Incredible job = 8-0?

Ask Georgia how hard it is to win on the road in the SEC in a hostile environment.

No one's saying it's easy.

There's a razor thin line between elite and just good. In a 12 game season you don't have a lot of margin to slip up and still call yourself elite.

Maybe Orgeron did hire Busch with the long term goal of hoping Burrow would not win the job at Ohio St and reaching out to him, with Busch being the guy to get our foot in the door.

I suppose that's plausible. Or maybe we got really lucky.

O isn't going to be able to hire close friends of all potential transfer QBs in the future.

If you really pay attention to what o does as the head coach you'll notice that there's never a wasted move.
