Yeah hiring DL coach who needs a 2.5 Million dollar DC to compensate for the fact that he can’t put a defense on the field himself is great ADing.

Frankly the shite yall say about O and SE are much worse...I love Aranda but being honest his defense has not performed like everyone thought it would this year. Hell most of our fans really think we need to score in the 40's to beat bama. Is that what we expect the best DC in the country to do with the incredible talent we have one defense?

This was a fine line when the defense wasn’t a top 10 scoring defense.
We’ve been very good even after losing our top pass rusher and going games without Phillips.
Aranda has made incredible adjustments to our lack of a Parrish, and we lead the country in interceptions.
He’s by far done the best coaching job of anyone on staff.

outside of the Troy game and amount we lost by to state how did he suck? I think the Troy game and ND was the only thing that sucked. State was a better team and so was bama

Yes I believe there are probably 4-5 that could do very well with the defensive talent we have. You don't think there are coaches out there doing more with less talent than we have? To think that would mean you don't think we have much talent.

I think Shitty coaches and shitty coaching can still win games.
Arkansas, Tennessee, Florida, Ole Miss, A&M, BYU were all TERRIBLE teams last year.
not every game is going to show you how good a coach you are, but losing to most of the semi decent teams we played and squeezing by teams like syracuse and Florida who were shitty teams wasn’t good coaching.

I don't know, and I don't care. Yards allowed is one piece of analyzing a defense. LSU is 7th nationally in points allowed, better than all of our opponents except for Mississippi State. So, is the defense putting us in a position to win nearly all of our games? Evidently yes.

And the defense hasn't had to deal with "factors"? They played the same schedule. DL has been unable to engineer much of pass rush, particularly earlier in the season. Chaisson has been out for the year. Phillips was out the one game we lost. I could just as lazily call you a "hater" or a "moron" for refusing to take those things into account.

O would say Name the 4-5 DCs you thinknwould do as well and also ask yourself how many HCs and OCs do you think could do as well or better than what we’re dping than O or E?

We offered him a huge pay increase from a school that couldn’t come close to matching.
But there aren’t that many elite DCs at middle tier schools right now.

The defense has been pretty conservative....it's funny how you always hear that about offenses but most people don't apply that to defenses. I believe in what Saban preached...you must affect the qb
