I'll say this much: I can't imagine what kind of mental toughness it takes to go out on the field down 28 points, after enduring idiotic insults and even threats for weeks ... and leading a team to victory as Lee did last Saturday. This kid apparently has an amazing reserve of inner strength and heart—qualities that are entirely lacking in those that heap insults on him. Whether or not Lee wins a Heisman or leads us to a NC down the road or anything else—he's Purple and Gold and that makes him worthy of our respect, thanks and support. Just like every other LSU player.

you idiot fans that can't understand that he is A FRESHMAN and making FRESHMAN mistakes, forgeting that Jamarcus Russel used to do the same thing off the bench, are VERY, VERY SHALLOW. His receivers haven't helped him out at all this year. If you want to be mad at someone, be mad at our co-cordinators on defense for their shitty play calling. If you think you can do a better job than him, then take your arse out their and you do it!!!!!

I for one, am behind JL..I take alot of shitz from friends about it..but I think his problem is coaching...it almost seems like he is being set up to fail. I mean why call plays they know he can't make?? He wouldn't hold the record for pick 6's if it weren't for the coaches, and the O not being able to tackle.

One thing for sure...He definately stands tall, even though people want to bring him down.

There sure are alot of whiners on this board. Jarret Lee is basically a freshman. One year older doesnt give him any more game experience. He can be a very good quarterback just like many of the college quarterbacks that struggled in their 1st year starting but now are considered very to be very good (such as Stafford or John Parker Wilson). Give the kid a break, and have little understanding.

I can’t understand the need of some people to piss all over a positive thread about Lee. Lee’s biggest problem is confidence. You could especially see it in the Bama game as his body language just screamed that he didn’t want to be out there and he was waiting for the next bad thing to happen. But Lee’s the QB and we don’t have any other viable options. He needs our support because that’s how he’s going to turn it around. He has the tools, he just needs the confidence to use them.

This comeback could be a huge building block for Lee’s blossoming into the quarterback I know he can become. He just needs to put all the negativity behind him and just go out there and play. We should be cheering him on, not trying to beat him down. Because if Lee does blossom into a great player, we fans benefit.

I wouldn't boo any Tigers or Tiger team, but if I was at the game and saw the piece of shite product that LSU put out on the field in the 1st half, I wouldn't blame anyone for leaving early.
