Because Alleva doesn't have any control over the traffic flow before or after the game.

Oh, I know that some of you looooooathe Joe Alleva, for whatever reason you have in your head - maybe it's jealousy - I don't know.

Those of you that have bashed him for the $15MM buyout - why?

Those of you that have bashed him for the leaks - why?

Did it ever, for even the slightest second, cross your minds that he is not responsible for either of those situations, and that maybe he's trying to handle the situation the best way possible?

Now, lets go back to the two questions...

I've seen MANY on here say that Alleva is responsible for the large buyout. The fact is, that buyout was in place before he held the AD role, and was actually increased by the BoD to over $18 MM shortly before he took over.

See Page 8

As for the leaks, there have been numerous people saying that the leaks have come from the coaching staff, and I know of one, that at least has some semblance of legs, that confirms that.

All I'm saying, is that we're already going to lose Les, so let's not compound the issue by attempting to cut off the entire athletic department face to spite ourselves.

Part of your post is accurate, part of it is Not.

If Alleva pulls this off and lands the right coach, then I'll be the biggest Alleva fan on Earth, but I think he sucks as an AD. I hope to be proven wrong very soon.

Joe A. is no Miles fan. Has not been a friend of the program or the coach.

He would love to see a regime change.

Read about Alleva and the Duke Lacrosse scandal, and how he turned his back on his coach after he said he had his back.

Alleva was a bad hire.

Bertman hired Miles.

Was it?

It's also kinda funny to watch the hypocrisy of the admins knock the media for blowing up the reports of les being fired.

Using Alleva as a human punching bag could be a great promotion to increase attendance at the basketball games. I'd buy one.

Gotta respect that.

If he had strongly denounced the rumours, he might only be a man that had to lie for his job. Now he's a POS! Fire Alleva!

He deserves to be a punching bag.

I don't blame him for the contract buyout nor the leeks. I blame him for not making the statement about Miles being focused on Aggie and no decision on Miles future had been made earlier in the week.

Why wait until Friday? If he makes that statement on Monday this circus is a lot smaller.
