Last night Tiger Stadium was heaven. I've been to stadiums all over the country. College stadiums and professional. No stadium fans reacts instantaneously to plays no matter how significant, or insignificant the play was. Most stadiums, there is a delay in the reaction from the fans. Not Tiger Stadium!! Last night Tiger Stadium had my ears whistling/ringing. The noise created by the greatest fans in sports is something that only happens in Louisiana. If you don't believe me, you've never been to Omaha for BASEBALL. LSU fans are the greatest fans that walk the earth. Period. Tiger Stadium is so damn emotional that it will make the opponent cry even when they win the game. Alabama has nothing to be ashamed of. They played their arse off against 90,000 Tiger fans, but the tears fell from only the winners this time.

I literally almost passed out twice during the game including the last play to win it. My wife almost called 911. I hv been going and watching Tiger football since late 60’s , not sure my heart can take it anymore. Lol

What a way to go out if it did I suppose!
Geaux Fighting Tigers!!
No place like it .

I’m not sure why people make a big deal about this. It depends on where you measure. The only accurate place to measure decibels in TS would be at the tiger eye, vertically between the upper deck and the field. Some guy said his watch. If you have your hand cupped over your mouth screaming, it’s going to be loud as frick.

Last night was up there for loudest games I’ve ever attended and I’ve been going to games since the late 80s. Any reason we don’t show decibel meter on screens, like I’ve seen done in other stadiums?

A meaningless number unless it’s measured in the same spot for each stadium - like the 50 yard line in the center of the field. Sideline measurements are apples to oranges.

Well stated and every word true. There is no finer stadium experience in the world today. We are truly blessed.

I was there with my son section 101 row 12 sits 17/18!!!!! The atmosphere was so electric! We were standing the whole game nearly! When Harold Perkins cramped up, the medical staff attended to him right away! We stormed the field!! A memorial moment for my 14 year old son and I

What a great experience and I’m just so happy for the students, especially this cohort that lost a year or two of normal life to covid.

Truly special games likes this are rare and are the ties that bind the fan base together. 88 auburn, 97 Florida, 2003 Georgia, 2007 Florida, 2022 bama. Always want each generation of lsu students to get to experience one of those games.

And that’s in spite of an inept admin doing everything it can to ruin the experience. Imagine what it still could be!

Amazing place in some instances.

It's not just the Sound, it's the ENERGY & EMOTION! It Vibrates & Rattles Players, Coaches, Fan's very Bones & Organs. The NOISE is beyond deafening and disrupts the body's physical senses, balance via the Inner Ear & fluid in their Eustacean Tube. Players/Coaches become "Punch Drunk".

Tiger Stadium & LSU FANS have the sole, unique ability to IMPOSE THEIR EMOTION/ENERGY/PASSION TO ACTUALLY WILL & CAUSE A WIN!

THEIR IS - NOR EVER HAS BEEN - ON THIS PLANET - GREATER HUMAN EMOTION/ENERGY/PASSION/NOISE/INTENSITY THAN LSU FANS IN TIGER STADIUM! EVERYONE KNOWS THIS. IT IS NOT DEBATABLE.
