Just trying to get some of you to pump the brakes and see that just getting rid of Les Miles as HC won't automatically solve LSU's problems.
but keeping him will likely compound the problem and things will get worse and worse. you see the cracks in the dam on offense and special teams, they will only widen from here if you allow him to let it.
point is, with your line of reasoning, no coach should ever get fired because you don't know if it'll get better with the new guy.

We don't know that. But there is now 4 years and 2 games that let us know that Les can't either.
It's time to move on

Change is scary man and often painful but necessary to survive.

Everyone understands that there will be a rebuilding period. But the disease that is Les Miles will have left us, so things will be much better! Thank yo do much for your concern for our welfare, daddy.

1. What other teams want Miles since he is so great?
2. Could other coaches get more than 7 offensive points against a non ranked opponent with Fournette?
3. Most teams have winning records because they schedule nobodys. Name the last win LSU has over a team that finished in the top 20?

I just want a coach that knows how to plant grass.

Well lets start:
LSU always wins the bowl games--uh wait ask Notre Dame, Alabama, Clemson, etc.
Les always wins out of conference games oops.
Les never loses 2 games in a row ask ARKY OLe Miss and BAMA about that.
This could be the new low--have a losing season. It could happen. He could easily lose to Auburn, Miss St. Ole Miss, Alabama, Florida, and aTm.

Here come the pussies

Wouldn't you say continuing to let your inaccurate qb throw the ball when you have LF and your d can't stay off the field insane?
It's time Les goes. We will get butt raped by bama and Ole Miss. Might still end up with 9 wins. But that's what Jimbo will get us.
Les is trying to win with what he's got, I don't blame him wanting to run LF. But I blame him for not being able to find someone that can recruit and develop a qb.

I'm sick of hearing this argument. This program is already falling down the rabbit hole and a change is NECESSARY!

He's closer to retirement now.
But, let's see. We've seen these same fans for years bashing Les character when the team wins for using Michigan and Arkansas as leverage. Mean oke Les was stealing our money.
Yet, no one would hire him?
This is the kind of shite I've hated from the negaturds over the years. Make up your mind.

You can't play 1980's football in 2016..... ANYTHING will be an improvement over a brain dead head coach.....

I think you're over-thinking my line of reasoning. There are times when a coach should be fired, without a doubt. Losing seasons is usually the main reason coaches are fired. Les Miles has never had a losing season at LSU, so there goes the main reason. Personal scandals (ex: Bobby Petrino) are another reason. Nope, nothing there with Miles. From all accounts, he hasn't lost the team, they still have confidence in the man who recruited them and has been their coach.
Basically, everyone is calling for Les Miles to be canned because he's stubborn, and hasn't led LSU to the success that the program deserves. Understandable points. If LSU were a program like say, Virginia, or Minnesota, his record would be totally acceptable. But at LSU, expectations are much higher, as they should be.
Trust me, I hope the grass is much greener. Just trying to be realistic here.

Alabama, Florida, Tennessee, Florida state, usc, Texas, Ohio state and many others have all had job openings during miles' tenure. How many of those jobs was he ever linked to?

It's cute that you think have a point here. But the reality is just because miles leveraged those openings for money doesn't mean they wanted him. It just means he has a really good agent, and Joe Alleva is a ducking moron. The fact is the Michigan opening in 2007 was the only definitive time another school pursed miles. The second time Michigan was open, everything coming from the Michigan side sad he was not a candidate. And I don't recall anything from Arkansas' side indicating he was a serious candidate either. But even if they were, are you really using Arkansas as the barometer of excellence to compare yourself to?

No one is over thinking anything. You are content with mediocrity. Everyone can see that. It's ok.

So just fade away into mediocrity instead right?

I'm just saying let's not fall victim to the old "grass is greener on the other side" way of thinking, and to be careful what we wish for.

So by your logic, there's never a time where you can fire a coach because it's taking a risk that'll likely fail?
And your standard for LSU is "as long as they don't have a losing season"?
