The big question is, how will he get along with Woodward. If the two can co-exist, LSU will be alright...athletically speaking.

He’s actually smart as frick.

Why? Because he can regurgitate the same fricking ignorant racist garbage that other “black scholars" spew to get ahead in academia?

Anyone who promotes this f*cking racist garbage is f*cking ignorant.

Let's see what he does. If he goes full radical, he'll get booted pretty quickly.
Frick that.

He needs to be booted before he moves in!

Mass demonstration and financial boycott if he's actually allowed in.

Make the man feel uncomfortable to be here!

LSU may have made the wrong decision.

You think? Just maybe?

LSU is a joke and has been for the last couple of years. Thanks God for 2019.

Show of hands...has anyone ACTUALLY read the papers? It’s quite easy to say that he said math was racist when 1) the opening line that most are referring to was a quote by someone from the 60s and 2) he doesn’t mean MATH AND NUMBERS are racist (that wasn’t even the phrase used), it was an examination on how race, discrimination and social elements play a role in math proficiency, instruction, and gauging in African American and minority communities. Everyone call down lol

In the broadest of terms, whomever is in the spot of the oppressor. That also varies depending on intersectionality. Overall, we can sit here and go back and forth over views on the subject. All of the uproar and vulgarity is pretty wild when things could truly be discussed in more cordial ways. Like CRT as a study come out right after the Civil Rights era. Have we come far since then? Of course. Do we still have plenty of work to still do? Absolutely. Implicit bias is human nature. We all have it. Whether racial, economic, physical, etc. But we also should be grown enough to have discussions on sensitive topics without people acting out.

And who do minorities see as their oppressor? Sound very Hitler esque and a very dangerous thing to preach or even study for, oh I don't know, 20 years.

Hitler-esque? Sir LOLLLLL Hitler was already a part of a majority that decided to oppress a minority to “unite” a country. That’s a terrible comparison, and shows you haven’t read any of the papers. Dude literally compared frameworks and examined the social/racial disparities in our teaching of math to minorities, someone then said he thinks math is racist and y’all ran with it because it’s far easier to do that and act hateful than to actually read and discuss. Hitler killed 6million people, Tate did analyses on how to better educate Black kids but y’all saw CRT and thought it was race baiting lol bout right

Sounds like they are listening to what he says. I do not know what color he is, but math is not racist.
