Clemson vs:

UL 3pt W
Notre Dame 2pt W
USCe 5pt W

2 of these weren't very good squads

That's silly, but do you know how many Power 5 programs have averaged 10 wins a yr. since 05...5

Do you know I dont care. I only care about this program and the product we put on the field. It doesn't matter how many power 5 teams did this or that. A 3-loss November to the likes of OM/Arky and the satanic gumps is unacceptable. No coach should get a pass on that.....one year maybe....but certainly not two in a row.
We need to restore the pecking order in the West and it needs to be this year. We wont get another chance like this with the schedule and returning players for a while.

Never been 2 consecutive 3L Nov for LSU under Miles.
Pretty sure 2008 was only other 3L Nov and 32-14 Nov record thru 2005.

They replaced 9 last year. They don't seem to use the too young excuse.

Do you know I don't care that you don't care.

Is 10 wins a season the only measuring stick of a program? Of course not, but it speaks very well of LSU football and those who have played between the lines and those who have coached on the sidelines the past 16 yrs. that LSU is one of 3 teams to do it. imo

If the Bama success has blinded you to the pretty remarkable LSU success since 2000 or 05, that's your program.

I can see both our successes and failures. But to act like averaging 10 wins a season for the past 11 yrs. is not a worthy accomplishment when it comes with west titles, SEC titles, 2 NCG appearances, and a NC is just silly.

Because I had a question and I wanted to see what others thought. Also, I didn't feel like contributing to a bunch of boards that are, for some reason, bitching about an outstanding recruiting class. Good enough?

At this point, I believe as long as Les keeps eating grass and giving mostly incoherent speeches after games, he is set.

with the way this thing came down this past year, I don't think there will be any serious threats to fire him this year unless he loses 5 games or more. with the team LSU has I just don't see that happening.

only once has miles lost less than 2 games. tbh, bama and ole miss have better teams (when you include coaching). they can EASILY stop our running game. can we execute the passing game good enough to beat them? my observation is no. there is a lot that has to happen to complete a pass.....

-the play must get called in time to run the play
-there must be no penalty on the OL
-the wr must get open
-the qb must pass the ball accurately to the wr
-the wr must catch the ball

the LSU offense has not shown the ability to do all 5 of the above very often; at least not often enough to change the defenses game plan.

in summary, les will lose to bama and one other team (probably ole miss) or more but will keep his job. my prediction is that he'll get tired of the "shite" from the fans and retire in the next coupla years.

bullshite.

Do you think the 5 people who were putting up the 20 mil suddenly like Les? think he is a good coach?

If I were Les I would try really hard to win the West, he loses to Bama and Ole Miss (again) and comes in 3rd in the West he is gone.

Since they probably haven't liked him the entire time he's been here, probably not. Hopefully if they try to oust him again they'll find a more competent way to do it.

If he wins 9 games he stays out of trouble. Beat bama and he runs for Governor.

We will more than likely have a dominate defense this year. Possibly one of the best in program history or close to it.
This is how Miles wins with defense. This will result however in a stalemate against Bama both teams stuff the run and it comes down to the QB's and the passing offenses. Saban has adapted on the "O" side of the ball.

Les must show something he has not up to this point a winning game plan when the rush is stoned.
Coaching will be the difference and there are two possibly three in the west that like scheming against our guy. Will feet of clay Les adapt???? That will be his stay or go moment and it will come this year.

bullshite.
If you think Les gets fired after losing 2 games you are insane. And your analogy sucks if you think that a 2 loss team comes in third automatically.

Acc is not very good top to bottom. And they didn't win the title. Not saying they make excuses, but if they had played in the sec they weren't making the playoffs.

Well he's undefeated when rushing for over 100 and holding opponent under 100. So really looks like the d needs to improve and Les strategy works. And he got the guy he wanted all along. Because if you keep letting arkansas and Bama run down your throat, your not winning that game regardless.
