People saying MB “doesn’t have it” are the same football gurus who said Joe “didn’t have it” midway through 2018.

Let’s pump the brakes and take a look at the big picture. Our main issues were attrition. Losing as many guys as we did had an even bigger affect than I even thought it would have.

We need to be prepared to lose some games this year. But let’s see where we are at the end of 2021 when this group has played more than 1 game together.

I’m glad we lost this game. It gave 600 yds worth of film study for our defense. The play calling does need to improve, but our O-line needs to improve and Brennen has to make quicker decisions(which will come with time).

Our D-line looks more aggressive. They did a good job of getting to the QB, they were just to slow on their stunts and gave the QB too much time to throw the ball.

Let’s just be honest and say we are not that good this year. But let’s not fool ourselves into thinking this team will not start to gel.

We saw this in 2017 and 2018 and the result was the greatest team ever in 2019. This is the growing pain we will go through until our recruiting catches up, like it did for Clemson and Bama.

Here is the big picture. Brennan will never have it. He is stiff with narrow vision. Etling had superior instincts compared to Brennan. So is life for LSU this season.

Love posts like this. They start to appear a day or two after the game after the anger subsides.

People recreate their own mental impression of what they saw. They allow their biases to warp the reality of the situation and refuse to accept what just took place.

The optimism builds throughout the week until the next game, when reality sets in again.

Stopped reading. Turn in your fan card, throw away all your P&G gameday gear, and GTFO.

I have always been a MB fan, but his performance last night left a lot to be desired. He looked scared, unprepared, hesitant, had poor pocket awareness, held the ball way too long, threw into coverage and just appeared to be in way over his head. I put part of the blame on the coaches. In my opinion, I felt like we tried to emulate last year's team and that put MB in a lot of situation he wasn't ready for. I hope I'm wrong, but he doesn't look anywhere close to be ready to lead this offense!

Midway through 2018, Burrow already had a comeback win at Auburn and a beatdown of #2 Georgia under his belt.

He wasn't putting up gaudy numbers yet, but most fans recognized he had "it". His demeanor and attitude was vastly different than Brennan's yesterday.

nobody said joe didn't have it in 2018. His pocket awareness was light years better. He was able to make multiple reads and quick decisions. Brennan can't do any of that.

What about Brennan gave you confidence yesterday? The stats? Because it certainly wasn't his poise, footwork, mobility, pocket presence, or downfield vision.

There's a difference between a fan & a fan who really understands the game. A fan will always remain optimistic & that optimism will always grow closer to the next kickoff even after an embarrassing loss.

The fan who understands the game, has seen & studied aspects of the game, will be alarmed when they see flaws in a player, scheme or coaching especially when those flaws are the type that usually have a tendency to remain all season long.

Brennan's flaws are something we will see game after game. They will hinder the offense all season long. He will take bad sacks or turn the ball over in really bad spots in games. Our offense will sputter because of his struggles to read defenses pre & post snap.

State is nowhere near the best defensive team on the schedule & Brennan will look even worse against those defenses after taking a couple of hits. It's amazing to me that some people can't see this or refuse to see this.

Brennan would have been processed by Saban 2 yrs ago. He's had the job fall into his lap by default. If the coaching staff leaves the future HT winner in games too long, too many times, Brady didn't trust Brennan to mop up. Brady was right.

You think they needed 600 yards of getting their arse drug up and down the field for them to do a proper evaluation?

MARCUS RANDALL SAYS “HI!”

DIP$HIT!

The glaring fact that you’re one of the numerous self-proclaimed “experts” that routinely spew their criticism & “analysis” on this board who, in reality, would have the balls to say even a quarter of the crap that you so bravely write while safely hidden in anonymity, clearly never had the stones to ever actually strap on a helmet and actually play the game, and who, at the end of the day, are just an incredibly scared little Pu$$y!

Keep posting tough guy!
