One stat you can research but I know it to be correct. The worst offense always has the best or s very good punter. The best offense has a lowly ranked punter. It’s just a law of averages.

Lane should have learned from Saban, you need a dedicated Special teams coach, not by committee. That’s why the return teams and specialist have not been good.

Luckily if our offense keeps this up we won't have to punt that much.. but yeah he is poo poo like most of our special teams thus far.

Our offense is much better this year, so he’s punting less and from much better field position. Therefore, more of his punts are pooch punts or directional in trying to pin the other team deeper in their own territory and prevent a big return.
